Second Floor Common Room; Monday Afternoon

It wasn't Shira's common room, but that wasn't stopping her from plopping herself down on a couch and flipping through the TV channels.

People could make her leave if they didn't want her there. The second floor was just more interesting today.

Even if what was on the television was even more boring, if possible, than anything she'd watched before.

"I haven't met the prince in the story, yet, but the heroine certainly seems to think she's beautiful enough." She smiled again. "I asked for a story where the witch wasn't the bad guy. It's a little insulting that there are so many stories about evil witches, but very few about the good ones."

"Maybe people just haven't had enough good witches in their lives," Ariel reasoned thoughtfully with a shrug. "I mean, I've really only known one, and she was pretty evil."

Cassidy looked appalled. "Well, now you know another witch and I am anything but evil." She wondered what the Protocol was for dealing with evil witches from other worlds. "I'm Cassidy."
