6th Floor Common Room [Saturday afternoon]

Sookie had spent the better part of the morning ensuring that every balloon was filled, that the food -- thanks Kennedy -- was out, and that the ballpit was available for maximum...ballpittiness.

Shhh.

The cake had taken her awhile (though she'd ordered the penguins rather than made them herself) but overall, she was pretty pleased with it. And hopefully, the birthday boy would also be.

"Thanks!" he grinned at her. "Did you see the cake? Sookie made it." Although sadly, it was not coffee cake.

Bah-dum-ching!

"It's very... flightless water fowl-y."

"Sometimes I turn in to a penguin," Bobby informed her solemnly. "So, you know. It's appropriately thematic."

"Oh." She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing for him, so she decided to err on the side of caution. "I turn into bats."

"I thought that was just in movies?" Bobby gave her a puzzled look.

"I haven't seen any moving pictures about vampires to know for certain," she admitted.

"Well, it makes more sense than sparkling, at least," Bobby said with a nod.

Seriously, Dusk. What was with that?

Maladicta shuddered. "I've heard about that. Vampires shouldn't dazzle."
