6th Floor Common Room [Saturday afternoon]

Sookie had spent the better part of the morning ensuring that every balloon was filled, that the food -- thanks Kennedy -- was out, and that the ballpit was available for maximum...ballpittiness.

Shhh.

The cake had taken her awhile (though she'd ordered the penguins rather than made them herself) but overall, she was pretty pleased with it. And hopefully, the birthday boy would also be.

[SP from me until about 5:30 EST! lol I got certified early and they let me go at 1.]

Considering Bobby was her 'big sibling', Maladicta was simply forced to go to celebrate his birthday. Or something like that. She even managed to find a gift for him!

...that had coffee in it. Look, some people had obsessions that kept them from trying to eat everyone. Don't judge.

Even though she was tired and frayed from the pain she was still feeling, Raven was pleased to attend a celebration for a friend. She wouldn't miss Bobby's party.

"So, I, uhh, talked to 'Dite about, uhh, that," Karla said, sidling up to her friend. Bobby's party was possibly not the best place for this conversation, but with any luck, no one would know what they were talking about.

Except for Raven, who could probably guess from the number of 'umm's' and 'errr's' Karla used.

Well, duh, Kennedy was here. She seemed to be keeping a close eye on the food, making sure everything was the way she'd ordered it so she wouldn't have to call and bitch someone out.

...what, did you think she wouldn't? She had her phone in hand just in case she had to.

But please. Like she'd have missed it.

Karla, having made the connection between the falling pepper-nooken (or whatever) and the fact that no party of Bobby's could ever have enough food in it, especially if she was also in attendance, showed up at the party carrying a large mixing bowl full of cookies. She'd stuck it out her window when she'd gotten home from the park, and by the time she was ready to head upstairs to the sixth floor, it was full.

Yay, ingenuity!

Peter arrived, mainly to partake in the free food, but he knew Bobby was Sookie's special friend, so it was the friendly thing to do.

The penguins on the cake were a nice touch, he thought. But he was here, happy, and ready to mingle.

Of course Emma was going to be here, for both Sookie and Bobby. She put her gift in the pile and quickly set to mingling once she'd acquired a cup of punch.

Tara was thrilled to be at the party. It was for Bobby, and everything looked amazing. She grabbed a snack and looked for people to talk to.

Really, Jono was impressed. But that seriously seemed like The Thing To Say at the time. Possibly because a cake with penguins like that would be a shame for anybody to actually eat.

Okay, so Quinn had talked to Bobby all of once, but did it really matter? She needed something to do, he seemed nice, and she could always just take a little cake and make her excuses if the party was lame. It didn't seem lame, though.

She'd be eyeing the ballpit and wondering how it would feel to try gymnastics in it.

Bobby had been lured up to the sixth floor with talk of hanging out in the ball pit, so when he arrived and things were set up for a party? It took him a few moments, but when he realized what was going on he started grinning like the huge dork he was.

Raven left Bobby a small box containing an amethyst crystal. There was also a note that read Amethyst has the magical property of helping with calmness and peace. If you carry it with you, perhaps it will aid you in times of stress. She didn't specifically say it was to help him return to human form in case someone else who didn't know about Bobby's gifts -- or Emma -- read the note, but she thought he'd understand.

The fairly sizeable package in the penguin wrapping paper with the giant silver bow on it was Kennedy and Tara's contribution, because really, a miniature trampoline for the perpetual kid? Best idea ever. Naturally.

The smaller but similarly wrapped package atop it was... well, hopefully Bobby wouldn't try to use both of them at once.

Karla'd had a lot of fun shopping for Bobby. She thought he might be amused by her first gift, but would be really excited about her second.

There were two of them, because it seemed more fun that way.
