6th Floor Common Room [Saturday afternoon]

Sookie had spent the better part of the morning ensuring that every balloon was filled, that the food -- thanks Kennedy -- was out, and that the ballpit was available for maximum...ballpittiness.

Shhh.

The cake had taken her awhile (though she'd ordered the penguins rather than made them herself) but overall, she was pretty pleased with it. And hopefully, the birthday boy would also be.

"I did!" Karla said, grinning. "These are, umm, pepper-nooky, I think Dolf said. They use spices! I told you pepper was good in baking!"

"Jello?" Sookie tried after a moment's thought. "Maybe cereal."

Karla tried not to wince when Sookie said 'Jello-o.' She'd tried to make some for her frog once. A shirt and a pot in the common room would never be the same again.

"Sandwiches, too," she offered. "I made the ones we ate when we went to get you."

Peanut butter and jelly was just about her speed.

"Bet you can make like, ice cream sundaes, too," Sookie declared.

"Really delicious ones!" Though she should probably not be allowed to make the ice cream that goes into the sundae. "Though that's not really cooking. None of that is."
