Sookie had spent the better part of the morning ensuring that every balloon was filled, that the food -- thanks Kennedy -- was out, and that the ballpit was available for maximum...ballpittiness.

Shhh.

The cake had taken her awhile (though she'd ordered the penguins rather than made them herself) but overall, she was pretty pleased with it. And hopefully, the birthday boy would also be.

Raven drifted over to Jono when she saw him arrive. "I am sorry," she said. "I did not realize Professor Skywalker was really going to speak to you."

Other than the fact that Anakin could be a scary, scary man when he wanted to be.

"I only told him that we went to London over the weekend," Raven said, blushing a little. She didn't want him to think she was in the habit of telling Anakin everything. "I visit him every week, but my personal life is not one of our usual topics of discussion."

"I do, and I am touched by his concern," Raven said, exhaling in relief. "And I am glad you are not upset. And...I am pleased to see you."

She stepped closer with her arms outstretched. See, no ninja sneak attack hugs this time!

Raven gave him a quick but warm hug and pressed an empathic kiss to his cheek before stepping back again. "I am well, thank you," she said. "It is always a pleasure to celebrate the birthday of a friend."
