Sov brought a radio and a soldering iron into the common room. The radio wasn't strictly necessary, but it was Sov's most priced possession and they wanted to show it to Tony, if nothing else as an example of the type of technology they were used to. They placed the things on the table and sat down, waiting for their friend to show up. They might have been a little early. Tony's promise to show them how to build a radio was important, after all.

"No?" Sov hadn't ever considered collecting things. "Well, if I'd had that many things, my hearth sibs would have stolen most of it."

Ariel grinned a little bit at that. "That's why I had to keep the collection secret back home," she said. "My sisters are constantly swiping each other's stuff. How many...hearth siblings do you have?"

Ariel only assumed they had to be like sisters.

"Canon isn't clear on that, but I'll say Fifteen!"

Hearth siblings were children of the same age who had been brought up in the same hearth. In this case, two of them were actual siblings and most of the others were cousins.

"Ohmygosh!" Ariel giggled. "And here I thought six was a lot! That had to be pretty fun sometimes...and annoying at others, I bet."
