Fifth Floor Common Room [Sunday morning]
After so many requests for pancakes from her own children yesterday morning, Sookie figured that might be a theme for the weekend. And when she woke up, and Henry wasn't gone, at least, she'd run out to get a few supplies before returning to the common room to see what she could put together. (Though, of course, Henry had insisted on coming with her once he realized she was Going to the Store and he might Get Stuff.)
It clearly just wasn't her own children she was worried about, here, Drake/di Glacia/Stackhouse appetites aside. Sookie had bought enough things to make breakfast for pretty much any kids (and parents) who showed up. She was setting to work on the pancakes, but in other pans she was busily scrambling eggs and frying up some bacon. She'd also made a point to buy orange and apple juice and milk both chocolate and white, because there was no way in hell she was letting more of those kids just drink coffee. She didn't care if it was for a weekend, it was just irresponsible.
[open common room! come have breakfast!]

"-- that depends who you ask, and if it's a good day," Miraya added, because she'd heard Uncle Xander say that once.
Asher frowned at her. "You're being difficult again," he told his sister.
...that probably answered the rest of the question right there.

Asher bit his lip, then shook his head apologetically at Sookie. "Not so much. Are you friends with them, though?"
He shot a worried glance at Miraya, who sighed and informed him, "I'm not gonna break him, Asher, don't worry!"

Henry, meanwhile, was bouncing in his chair a little. "I'm not gonna get broked but if I did, Aunt Raven would fix me an' it'd be okay! I'm five, how old are you?"

She had, a couple of times, but shh.
Asher adjusted his glasses and beamed up at Sookie. "I like your pancakes almost as much as Mom's," he told her.

Henry was totally ignoring all of that, and bouncing some more at Miraya. "I'm not apposed to either unless I get real hurt. One time Nommy and me were flyin' and I fell I broke my arm and it hurt real real bad!"

Miraya was staring, slack-jawed, at Henry. "You went flying? I never get to go flying. Lucky!" And now she'd just have to try and talk Mom and Mommy into letting her help Uncle Andrew test out his rocket pack for real, even though they always said no.

No, there was no cracktastic comicsverse magical flying here."Just an uncle who's king of the nerds and he tries to make flying stuff, but Mom says I can't help him test stuff until I'm thirty."
