The Roof, Saturday Evening

After spending the last bit of his vacation hiding from the world and clinging to his laptop, it was time for Tony to brave the world again. And pray no one remembered he got drunk and puked on a tree.

It was all Bobby's fault anyway.

So he was going to get a bit of fresh air up on the roof before going to his lab for the rest of his life. It was for the best, really.

"Just trying to help," Bruce said.

"How was the rest of your vacation then?"

"Not bad. No hangovers," Bruce said. Yeah, he was going to push that just a bit farther. "I didn't get out quite as much the last few days, but it was still a good trip overall."

Tony rolled his eyes at him. "It was only one time."

"So you'll only get mocked the one time," Bruce said. "What about you? Other than that, did you have fun?"

"I spent the rest of the time in my room." A beat. "Or in the bathroom puking."

"That's rough," Bruce said. "But it's over now. And that's all I'll say of it."

"I'm never letting Bobby show me anything again."

"I could have told you that one," Bruce said. "Make sure you don't let him get involved with your dating life."

"...has he done that to you?"

"He had a habit of ruining dates with an old girlfriend. Most of it was probably unintentional," Bruce said. He was giving Bobby some benefit of the doubt for the penguin thing.

"Now I just have to ask," Tony informed him. "What?"

"One time involved him turning into a penguin," Bruce said. "I don't think he planned that."

"...this is an island thing, isn't it?" He was getting good at this!

"The penguin thing, yes. The interrupting the date part of it was pure Bobby Drake," Bruce said.

"I'll be sure to have any potential dates far away." In Gotham! Or New York.

Where a villain could attack.

Nothing said romance like a clown murdering people. Hopefully only in Gotham.

"You're learning," Bruce said, showing a smile. "Good."

"If I need advice beyond that, you can expect a call."

"Fortunately, I'll be able to take that call now. I managed to get the Justin Bieber song off of my phone. It took me a while to figure it out," Bruce said.

Tony snorted in amusement. "Not bad. I'm almost impressed."

"That's what I strive for, being almost impressive," Bruce said. "I'm just curious how you got it on there."

"It's surprisingly easy to hack into phones," Tony replied. "They don't really think about security on them."

"I'll have to keep that in mind," Bruce said. "And remember not to keep any important contacts on my phone with you around."

"I could help you with a security program for it if you're really worried," Tony offered.

"Sure, I'll let you do something that nobody but you can crack," Bruce said. "I'll never hear Justin Bieber again, I'm sure."
