3rd Floor Common Room | Wednesday Evening
After an oh so trying day of class (not really) Luke felt a night sitting in front of the TV and raiding the common room pantry was in order. After a long and tedious search (not really) he came up with a bag of cookies and an episode of Man vs. Food on TV. The episode was set in Baltimore and it had Luke tempted to use the portal at the end of the Causeway and try stuffing his face with some of this stuff.
For now he'd just stick with the cookies though.

He nodded a greeting to those already there before heading to the cabinet and pulling out a box for macaroni and cheese.
"Thank goodness for modern conveniences," he commented; it was blissful to be able to make a meal without even much work...

Actually it was making him crave steak and making him not want to eat steak ever again at the same time. Damn you, Man vs. Food.

"Cookies," he said, pointing as he flopped down on the couch.
That was a request, Luke, yes.

"Could I, uh." He cleared his throat. "Could I get some?"
Wow! Manners! That was new.

"Bring it on," Topher announced, kicking back. "Unless the viking-roleplay-World-of-Warcraft dudes outside made it, in which case I'm gona have to pass."

"Not at all. It's made by me. I'm taking a little artistic license with it, too; making it a bit more cheesy, a bit more flavor. These boxed meals are quite convenient, but they lack a little in taste, I feel."

"Are you watching anything interesting?" she asked, as she perched in a chair with a magazine and a bowl of grapes.

Then: "And yes. Do they throw up on camera?"

"Hi," Dave said, maybe a little too excited at seeing his floor in action. And then his excitement was changed to wonder when he looked at the TV. "What is that guy eating?"

Dave honestly couldn't work it out. He was an innocent uncorrupted by reality television as of yet.

Or he was, anyway. Then again Luke would watch anything.
