Olive had set up the first floor lobby to accommodate the inaugural meeting of the pajama club -- setting up in this case meant making sure that there were plenty of comfy pillows and fuzzy fleece throws on the sofas, and that there was a Real Housewives marathon going on the television. On a table to the side, she'd set up a variety of cereal (though pretty much everything was colorful or chocolately or sugary. No Raisin Bran for you. Who were you people, who wanted like, Chex at Pajama Club?) as well as some milk and a set of bowls. Since it was still relatively warm out, Olive's pajamas were not particularly cozy, but they were, at least, pretty cute.

"Welcome to Pajama Club," she said, once pretty much everyone was assembled. "I'm Olive, if you didn't already know. And I'll be honest, this mostly started as a joke but I'm kind of super-glad that so many people turned out. Um, for our first meeting, I figured we'd do introductions and maybe you could share why you joined? Oh, and your favorite type of cereal, so I know what to get for meetings."

After work, Jessica was still trying to deal with the fact that she tasted like SPAM. It displeased her so much that she felt the strong need to grab some food from the common room that would allow her poor tastebuds to focus on something else.

The fact that there was a cake with seven candles in it for some reason seemed like karma. Or justice. Or dumb luck. Or like an opportunity to make a seven year old cry. But since the odds of that last one being true seemed small, Jessica took a piece of cake. And it tasted pretty great. Like karmic justice. And definitely not SPAM.

[OOC: Common room is open and cake is wonderful!]

It was raining.

It was not raining very hard, but it was definitely raining at the insane time the sirens went off across the school. The lawn outside was slowly but surely turning into a wet mess, and the grass was just high enough in some places that it might leave wet splotches on an unsuspecting passer-by's pants.

Clearly this was a great time for a fire drill.

It was clearly also a great time to test the new volume on the sirens, which blared even harder than they had ever done before. Hope you didn't have to take any tests in the morning, kids!

Jim had brushed today's class off about ten minutes after he'd left the classroom. It was ten questions, pointless in the grand scheme of things, and Jim wasn't going to let ten questions put him inside some kind of box.

Tomorrow, he'd planned on finally getting out and seeing what this little island had to offer. Maybe he'd hit up that bar Cade had mentioned to see what was the what there. Tonight, he was staying in and spending some time in the common room.

Feet up and head pillowed by the cushions, he'd already fallen into a habit of flipping through channels to find something interesting. Television during this time period was all kinda...lacking.

Eventually, Jim stopped on some movie when an explosion caught his eye and switched his attention to the apple he'd taken from the fridge. After taking his first bite, Jim decided the apple was much more entertaining than the movie.

For the first week, Juliet had firmly believed the tents were a joke and that at any moment, the school would come back to its senses and let everyone back into the dorms. Which were still a little basic for Juliet's tastes, but at least they had electricity.

It was now well into the second week, and she had to admit they were likely stuck for the duration. Juliet was just stubborn enough about being "real" that she hadn't yet followed through on her threats to get a hotel room -- which didn't, of course, stop her from whining every chance she got.

The bright side was that staying outside gave her an excellent excuse to work on a tan. She sprawled on her stomach on a towel set at one side of the unlit fire pit, notebook open in front of her as she worked on the monologue she'd promised Jono she'd write for the summer showcase. It was hard, communicating how dreadful camping was without sounding like you'd lost your sense of perspective.

A full month into his stay here at Fandom (yes, he was counting), Frank was officially certain of one thing: he had now explored the entire island, from Serendipity Place to Galactica Point, and could officially navigate his way around the place without the use of a map. He could even, if someone were to ask, provide directions from one place to another, and have them be not only correct but expedient.

Having learned that last part firsthand this morning, it was safe to say that he was really quite proud of himself.

To celebrate, he picked up some Chinese food (more than he could ever hope to consume in a single sitting), flopped down in front of the TV, and turned on some reality show where people complained in a courtroom.

This was a good day, Frank decided.

Stacey had learned something over the last couple days: most kids ate really unhealthy things. She'd known that before (she had babysat for a living, after all) but it was a lot more obvious to her now that she was in a boarding school setting.

So today she'd gone out shopping and bought some really healthy stuff to stock up the fridge and cabinets, since otherwise it was hard for her to eat. Besides, it couldn't hurt anyone to maybe try something that was good for them, and then maybe it wouldn't look strange if she was the only one in a setting eating a salad. With the TV on for background noise, she unpacked the grocery bags and put the food away.

See, Fandom, Stacey was being helpful.

Bod's memories had been returning since yesterday. Remarkably, it had taken the shrill cries of that harpy from yesterday to help the dam in his head break free. He had killed his twin and taken over his identity. That had allowed him to get far in life with his twin's wife and his job and everything else attached to it. But, it all had become so small so he took his vendetta against twins, ALL TWINS, to another place. His bloodlust was unquenchable.

Standing on the ledge of the roof, he surveyed the island before him. They might not yet know that he was watching them all but he was. Some of them would be spared and some of them wouldn't. His twin's identity was still his own and he'd take his vengeance out on everyone.

When the police arrived, his twin would be blamed and Bod would be the crying brother, oh so sad about his twin's fall from grace. Bod laughed loudly and proudly. His amnesia was gone and his mind was full of evil twists and dark thoughts.

Who could stop him? No one!

[Open if you wanna talk to Bod and/or get pushed off a building because Bod will try especially if you have a twin!]

Sam didn't know what kind of safe house this was but if it prevented him from getting shot again, he'd take it. He'd been through so much since agreeing to testify against that gang from back home who'd smuggled emeralds, blown up the docks (but they'd quickly been rebuilt, don't worry), kidnapped small children with teddy bears and killed people while laughing.

Evily.

Witnessing those atrocities had gotten him a bullet in the hip and a one way trip into witness relocation. Now, he was here, limping around the common room to try and find something to eat. Every little noise made him jump and every little voice sounded like Little Big Bubba, the leader of the Ducklings.

The names were ironic since the gang was so violent. You know how it was. Sam wasn't even Sam anymore. No one could find out his true identity. Everyone was a weakness. He couldn't be found out. Or he would...DIE!

It was that time again! Time for Sam to try to eat half the props, for Carly to worry about her brother setting fire to the camera in Seattle, for fans all over the world (in Sam, Freddie, and Carly's dimension, anyway) to gather 'round their computers and watch the latest antics of three more-than-conventionally-attractive teenagers acting like morons.

Woo!

Sam was bouncing around, limbering up, a strip of bacon sticking out of her mouth. What? Acting like a moron and flailing around took a lot of energy, okay?

"Are you sure we don't need more tomatoes?" she asked as she bounced and chewed. "I think we need more tomatoes."

Jeremy was failing at tradition. He was sitting by the main campfire, yet didn't have the makings of s'mores, nor did he have an actual campfire going. And that was a good thing. No one wanted Jeremy Darling to be the sole person watching over an open fire. No one averse to the accidental incineration of the cabins, at least.

He did, however, have a box of specially made mimosa cupcakes from J,GoB, because he'd been wanting to have some since Monday. He was blaming his sister for the craving. Not that it was a harsh kind of blame, because the cupcakes were delicious, and just the right thing to snack on while sitting back and relaxing.

Screw traditions. He'd had a weird enough couple of weeks to rather do things his way.

As Rilla was practically fifteen right now, she felt quite grown-up enough to attempt to light the campfire by herself and managed without setting anything other than the kindling ablaze. In a long-ish skirt and multiple layers, this was a trickier business than you might imagine.

She settled herself onto a comfortable log, stared starry-eyed into the campfire (it reminded her of good times with her family on the shore when they burned all of the debris that washed up over the winter) and began singing a Scottish air from home.

Her voice was surprisingly good for someone who wasn't prone to singing in public, but around a campfire, such a thing was expected along with ghost stories and toasted bread.

She'd provide the bread if someone else had ghost stories.

Today Wesley felt like being outside. He didn't much mind where exactly, which was why he ended up wandering around the campgrounds, weaving between cabins in search of something to do. It had been a little while since he'd managed to get himself up and about, but today was the day and he was eager to make good use of it. The weather was nice and there was social interaction to be had.

Antsy? Him? Not at all.

After an oh so trying day of class (not really) Luke felt a night sitting in front of the TV and raiding the common room pantry was in order. After a long and tedious search (not really) he came up with a bag of cookies and an episode of Man vs. Food on TV. The episode was set in Baltimore and it had Luke tempted to use the portal at the end of the Causeway and try stuffing his face with some of this stuff.

For now he'd just stick with the cookies though.

Ben had rambled something about cartoons and catchphrases back while they were heading towards Eros, and so Ender was trying to make a concerted effort to at least find out what he'd been talking about.

So: he was out here in the morning, eating cereal from a bowl. And looking increasingly more dubious about the reruns of We're Lyke Spies he was watching. As an experiment, it was not a particularly succesful one. Oh well.

Give him another ten minutes, and he'd be watching bloody Shakespeare movies again.

Right, so Juliet needed to work on the gossip column for the paper.

This would totally not be hard.

She started trying to write in her room, but it was all weird and quiet in there so she relocated to the common room. She had her little notebook out, but she also had a nice stack of tabloids and E! playing a special on Hollywood scandals ont he TV for inspiration.

She was incredibly sympathetic to poor Lindsay Lohan.
