Fifth Floor Common Room, Wednesday evening

Bruce was watching cable news. Nothing but talk of financial meltdowns, political bickering, angry old people yelling at each other, and something about cute animals every fifteen minutes or so.

It wasn't terribly exciting or interesting or anything. It was exactly what the night called for. Because dear god, Bruce needed a quiet night in after the way his week had been going.

With that in mind, he was drinking water, eating some crackers, and wearing a plain black hoodie. Nothing exciting at all. This was a matter of willpower, and nobody had more willpower than Bruce Wayne.

Well, by definition any given Green Lantern probably did. But screw those guys, willpower wasn't even an emotion.

[OOC: Seriously, screw those guys.]

"They like all meat," she replied with a smile as all three reared up on their hind legs and sniffed.

Firekeeper eyed them thoughtfully, and then spoke in the tongue of Beasts, curious to see if they'd respond at all.

Rabbit. She informed them. Would you like some?

She had a pretty good idea of the answer, yes, but it seemed wise to start with a simple query.

Yes! Yesplease! the dragons chorused. They were hardly articulate, but more on the level of a human toddler. Food!

Dany watched with her head tilted, curious as to what was happening.

Then you are in luck, as it happens I have plenty to share, she told them, laying the rabbit down on the floor so they could reach it. And you *will* share with your brothers, she added sternly, hazarding a guess that if they were anything like wolf pups, they'd each try and take as much as possible.

"I catch too much for me to eat all at once," Firekeeper explained. "So I ask if they would like to share."

"You can speak to them," Dany said in quiet amazement as the three dragons descended upon the rabbit as though they'd never been fed before. "I can't even do that."

[omg sorry I fell asleep at the computer last night. AGAIN. I AM AMAZING.]
