3rd Floor Common Room | Friday Evening

Stiles didn't have any plans for the evening which was on par for a Stilinski Friday night. He was still trying to avoid going into town so his entertainment options were relegated to watching porn in his room or watching something that wasn't porn in the common room. Well actually he could do both, since watching porn didn't take all night. But he did eventually end up in the common room, watching a horror movie about frat boys who piss off an irradiated grizzly bear.

It was about as horrible as it sounded. Which would explain why Stiles was more focused on the (surprisingly unburnt!) popcorn he had made and answering the barrage of texts he kept getting.

"Stay tuned, they're making a comeback," Gert offered. "And that puts you a dozen werewolves ahead of me, give or take. But there's a blonde girl who goes here who says she has a dinosaur too."

"Huh. Well Old Lace is the first one I've seen," Stiles said. "You'd think I would notice another dinosaur if it was around. Now I feel unobservant."

"Granted, she claims it's a 'mini-pterodactyl,'" Gert conceded, basically pronouncing the air-quotes. "So it may have just been hazing BS."

"I don't think hazing is a thing here," Stiles said. "I'm sure I would have been hazed if it was. I'm the type of person people haze."

"There's this blond guy on the second floor who seems like a total douchebag," Gert volunteered. "I wouldn't past him to try it."

Gert, to be fair, Jackson had been a douchebag after Old Lace had pounced on him.

...And... every other day of the week ever.

"Well you can't have a school without a douchebag," Stiles said. "Was his name Jackson?"

'Cause that was the only blond douchebag on the second floor that he knew.

"Reason number twelve I miss not having to go to school," Gert groused. "Yeah. He lives with that Jim guy."

"Ah, yes, I'm quite familiar with him. We've known each other since we were kids," Stiles said. "It's best if you just stay away from him."

Considering he may or may not be a lizard.

"I would have if Old Lace hadn't thought he needed some tackling," Gert said. That wasn't strictly true, given that she'd actively planned to introduce Jackson to Old Lace anyway, but it was basically the same thing. "Did you know jerks give off a vibe that pets can pick up on?"

"I wouldn't be surprised," Stiles said. "Though I figured it would scare pets away rather than invite tackling."

"Old Lace can get kind of defensive," Gert explained. "The last person she tackled like that was a murderous vampire."
