Gun Range [Tuesday morning]

With a week free from classes, Four was devoting his extra time to more practice in the gym and on the range.

He warmed up a bit with his pistol while he wanted for Sia to show up. The knife-throwing that Dauntless engaged in was flashy but ultimately pointless in a real fight.

Four nodded, taking her warnings seriously. "Is there anything it can't cut through?"

"There are a few substances where I come from that are resistant to it," she said. "I've yet to find anything here that it can't get through."

Four gave her a small grin. "Now I'm picturing you just jabbing this into things all over town and seeing if it breaks," he said.

"I'm sure that would result in a very large bill," Sia decided. And her father would make her pay for that one herself, with good reason.

"Probably," Four agreed. "I still kind of forget about money. We use credits."
