the roof; saturday afternoon

It was such a quaint place Chase had ended up in. It was a tiny speck of an island, filled with people that seemed to smile at him as he passed. They obviously had no idea who he was. Or what he was. It was hilarious. Apparently, his fellow Sons of Ipswich had run off like the cowards they were.

Again, it was hilarious.

Chase was sitting on the ledge of the roof, feet hanging off and tight smile directed at the people below him. Just one flick of his hand, one nod of his head and he could crush them all. But, that might be a bit messy and he did love to have fun with his friends before he killed them. Even if Caleb wasn't around and therefore, couldn't will Chase his powers, Chase figured he'd compromise.

And if that failed, he'd just kill people. That always took the edge off for a little while. Maybe he'd finish this island off before setting off to find Caleb and his friends. It'd be good...practice.

"Perhaps," Ygritte conceded.

If he wasn't so creepy.

"You still sound like you're doubting me," Chase said, closing his hand and snuffing the fire out. "Why is that?"

[giveherahand]

"I'm not much for trust," Ygritte said.

[flickofthewrist]

"You're going to make me sad and that's a terrible emotion to have," Chase told her, making a face. "I'd rather have fun. I'd rather feel good."

[giveherahand]

Ygritte arched up an eyebrow. "We're not much for fun beyond the Wall, either, unless you mean drinking and starting fights."

[flickofthewrist]

"You're missing out on so much," Chase told her, shaking his head sadly. "Drinking and starting fights is definitely fun but you need to broaden your horizons."

[giveherahand]

"They're currently so broad I don't know where I am," she replied. "I don't need fun. I need to go home. It's too hot here."

[flickofthewrist]

Chase raised his hand and made like he might create some fire again but he just waved at her.

"Have fun with your war," he said mockingly. "I'll be pulling for you."

[giveherahand]

"That cheers me right up," Ygritte told him dryly before climbing down the side of the dorm to escape him like a completely normal wildling.
