3rd Floor Common Room | Tuesday Afternoon
Ronan missed his car. It used to be so easy to stomp his way out of Monmouth and get into the BMW and take off. He could find a drag race somewhere outside of town and take the money of every single child that showed up and then come back with Gansey none the wiser.
Gansey had always known though. But, that wasn't really possible here. The room was too small to stay in so Ronan had reluctantly come down to the common room to see what was going on. He flipped on the television but didn't pay any attention to it.
Nope, he was there to see what he could find for Chainsaw, the black raven that was currently sitting on his shoulder. Chainsaw seemed to be taken with new surroundings but not enough to fly away.
"What do you want?" Ronan asked in a voice that was a lot softer than the one he usually used. "Hungry?"
Chainsaw squawked, "Kerah," which was her name for Ronan and flapped her fingers.
"Okay, let's find something."
The kitchen seemed to be decently stocked so he'd just steal something for the both of them.
[Open place, open post.]

"Why's that happen?" he asked her. "Transformations."

It was small and full of stairs and surrounded by nothing but water.

What kind of island had Gansey punted him to?

"Seriously."
That's right, Ronan, she even nailed your voice.

Chainsaw, seeing a familiar face, actually launched herself off the counter and flew towards Raven. "What a swell party trick," he growled because he fell back on anger when something unnerved him. "I think I make it look better."

No one had gotten that angry about her shifting in awhile. In her experience, angry sometimes led to pitchforks. She was pretty sure she could keep things civil here, but she wanted to be ready to shift into something armored just in case.
"It comes in handy, sometimes. And occasionally leads to ending up drunk in jail in Las Vegas disguised as a young Frank Sinatra."

But, he wasn't going to be violent. He didn't need to go to jail.
Chainsaw came to a rest near Raven who wasn't wearing Ronan's face anywhere. She peered at Raven quizzically, wings fluttering a bit.
Ronan took a breath that even managed to sound angry. "So, you can be anyone an you're here, going to school? Your priorities seem off to me."
no subject
"Sure. Because there's definitely nothing important about learning new things about the world in a safe environment. Especially not in a school where you can take classes in spy-craft and magic defense."
Not that she'd signed up for either of those classes.

"You can learn everything you need on the internet." Not that he ever used that. That was Gansey's thing. Or maybe Adam's. He didn't pay that close of attention. "I'd be off living some hedonistic lifestyle on a private island."
Such ambition. And he'd also probably be fitting in this stupid Glendower search in between drinks too.

"How is this place still even open?" he asked, voicing a question that had been prickling at him. "How hasn't the government gotten a hold of it and shut it down for study?"
no subject
It was all rather a bit more complicated than that, but Raven figured she had the gist of it.
"We're good at that sort of thing."
no subject
He was not.

That had never been an option.
"I chose the one that let me wear my own clothes."
