There was a sign that said "NO BOYS ALLOWED" on the entrance, but how harshly that would be enforced would probably be dependent on how tolerant said Boys were of manicures, rom-coms, make-up, hairstyle fun, and jumping into the ball pit.

After a week like the last one, a little girl-bonding seemed needed.

Hanna looked up with a snicker, one half of her face made-up, the other as it always was. "We are doing them a favor. Unless they want to wear make-up as well." Then they were more than welcome! "Would you like some popcorn?"

"Thank you," Jalian said, coming in and taking a bit. "Why makeup?" She cocked her head at Hanna curiously.

"Mostly because I have never tried it before," Hanna admitted. "I like the colors. And I want to see how different I can look." She held out her blue nails with happiness. "Look! They look like claws!"

Jalian grinned at them. "They're pretty! Are they strong enough to cut someone?"

"I don't know." Hmmm! Hanna tried it on herself, first, and drew a little blood on her arm. "... yes. Ow. Brilliant!"

Jalian grinned. "Useful!"

"Very," Hanna agreed, pleased. "I wonder if I could put little razor blades on the edges?"

... if she were going to still be an assassin, or something, maybe. Would that be good for every day?

"Maybe on the underside," Jalian suggested. "Easier to keep them out of the way then."

"Hmmmmm." Hanna was going to have fun attempting it, at least. "We are watching a movie about girl gymnasts. Which looks both difficult and fun, but I'm not sure I'm appreciate public competition."

"Why not?" Jalian asked. "It's a chance to show what each person is capable of."

"That part, yes, but the judging. And the rivalry!" Hanna made a face. "I am not used to people enough to know how to cope with that."

Jalian shrugged. "I'm used to it, I suppose. The rivalry, I mean. Not judging, though. How do they judge it?"

"There are minute points taken off for every mistake, although some of them might not be mistakes, and there is a very rigid requirement for the physical feats to be performed." Hanna frowned at the screen. "I think it would be boring after a while, since they can not, oh, combine the trampoline with the floor routine."

"I have heard of a thing called Mixed Martial Arts," Jalian offered, "but I'm not certain what it is."

"That might be more fun," Hanna had to agree. "And at least there would be a clear winner: whoever was left standing, if I understand the concept." She could do that!

"We should see if there is a group nearby!" Jalian decided. "We could see it for ourselves."

This could not possibly end badly.

Hanna's eyes got wider with surprised delight. "Yes! I keep forgetting that we can explore the mainland as well. There has to be one we can find that we can attend."

"I will look, the next time I'm there," Jalian promised, "and let you know."

As soon as she was done mugging soldiers.
