It was safe to say that a dwarf that was presented with a building challenge was a motivated dwarf. That would be why Thorin was halfway through building the so called 'yurt' with only a few, ah, embellishments.

Look, he needed to make it more defensible, okay?

And maybe there were a few decorative touches added to the walls.

Just be glad he didnt feel the need to add a wall around it. Yet.

"He's a dwarf," Blue explained. She paused to spoon some yogurt into her mouth, then added, "It's a cultural thing. You should see our room."

"Is it all covered in gemstones, too?" Raven asked, offering her an umbrella'd lemonade.

[yogurtvore]

"The dividing curtain is ridiculous," Blue confirmed, taking the lemonade with a quick, "Thanks. And we have a roomba with an axe. I don't know why, but it's cute and murdery."

"One of those little robot vacuum things?" Raven shook her head. "Does it just roam around bumping into things and chopping?"

[yogurtvore]

"Mostly the former. It's only supposed to use the axe if something attacks it or something. It's named--well, Thorin calls it something I can't pronounce. I call it Obama." Because she was about eighty percent sure 'Barack' was in whatever Thorin had said.

". . . Because it's an unmanned attack vehicle?"

"Because Thorin calls it Barack-about five more syllables. Have we met? I'm Blue." Oh, irony.

"I don't think so," Raven said. "I'm Raven. That's an unusual name."

Why yes, Raven was wondering if Blue was actually blue, sometimes.

"Yes," Blue agreed longsufferingly, "I am aware. I've heard them all already. I'm sure you have, too, or maybe 'Raven' is a super common name where you're from and I'm off base."

"Sometimes people ask why I don't have dark hair," Raven admitted. "But it's not really that unusual. They found plenty of other things to tease me about."

"Don't they always?" Blue asked, rolling her eyes. People.

"It does seem to be one of the things that kids in general are really good at."
