6th floor common room- Wednesday evening

Once again, Sabine's stuff had gone missing, and she'd decided it was the day to actually look through the common rooms and see if it was somewhere there somehow. And once she got to the sixth floor, a floor she wasn't even sure she'd realized they had, she found a party set up. There was food, there were drinks, there was music going, there were even vaguely partyish decorations strung up.

But no one was here, and she looked around before getting out her phone and sending a group text to the dorms: Did someone throw a party on the sixth floor and forget to tell anyone? Because there's one waiting up here.

So, maybe she'd wait for people and see if they knew what was up? And anyway, there was free food and drink, so she went to grab a soda, and spotted a familiar symbol on a cap. "Hey, this is mine."

"Only if it isn't a disaster," Vette reminded, still grinning. "But I suppose the only way to make sure is to actually have fun while we're here, right?"

"Sure," she nodded, looking around. "Not that I'm sure how this is different than just hanging out in a common room..."

"The decorations are better," Vette offered. "Maybe there are drinks?"

She glanced around for all of two seconds.

"There, drinks. So it's officially a party."

"I'm not sure I knew the drinks were the deciding factor there," Sabine sahd, though it did sort of make sense.

"Well, do you often just hang out in the common rooms with drinks?"

Maybe she did. Vette wasn't going to judge.

"Okay, no," she conceded. "I didn't even know we had them here. Aside from squirrel rum."

"And if the squirrels are sharing, I don't want to know," Vette decided. "They'd probably just hand out drinks on slow news days if they thought it would make radio more interesting."

"If they haven't done it yet, then they probably won't," Sabine sahd. "Unless they threw the party."

"And now I'm not entirely sure I trust the party," Vette noted. "Guess that's as good a reason as any to come up with a drinking game or something. That'll help."

... Somehow.

"A drinking game? I've never done one of hose."

Never had the opportunity, really.

"It's a great way to make a party into a party fast," Vette offered. "You can make it a game of skill, where people get worse the more they drink. Or you can do one while watching holos, where any time the characters do something specific, you drink. Or..." She looked thoughtful. "I don't know, maybe we pick some Earth drinking game and play that. I haven't really explored much of what they do around this world for fun."

She knew rock-paper-scissors, but that wasn't really a party game, so much.

"You know more than I do," Sabine said. "I didn't actually know people did any of that."

And yet, it wasn't surprising.

"You really need to visit Nar Shaddaa sometime," Vette laughed. And then paused. And then shook her head. "Actually, no. Nobody needs to ever visit Nar Shaddaa, even if it is a learning experience."

It was just the wrong kind, was all.
