The weather that day was actually fairly nice, not really terribly cold at all, and, having pretty much resigned himself to the idea that winter was going to stick around for good, Sidon was going to take advantage of it. He felt like he kept saying that there weren't many more days like this left, only to be then offered another one, and he was certainly not going to complain.

He was also not going to do much while outside on the desk, but that was par for the course. He was mostly just going to enjoy it, enjoy the view, and do some thinking. He did, after all, have an awful lot to think about, but first and foremost in his mind, today at least, was how the semester would be ending soon. There's be a winter break before the next one, and it seemed like an awful long time since he'd planned a trip home with his friends. And he had quite a few new friends (and some old ones that hadn't been on the list last time) that should get a chance to see Hyrule, and get away from the cold weather.

...if it ever really showed up.

And Sidon would have had no doubt that he was! Although, he would have felt the same way even if Norman had been terrible at it, too.

"Then I suppose Death Mountain is off the tour list, as well," said Sidon, whose grin suggested that the fact that it was called Death Mountain didn't even register as a reason why. "If you thought the desert was difficult, then I can't imagine you'd fare much better there. They say it's so hot that anyone not a Goron or protected by some special armor or potion will actually burst into flames."

He was still a little disappointed he hadn't thought to send Peridot up on a special mission, though, to report back to him on how it was up there, really.

Peridot... probably would have fallen in love with the place and not come back.

"I am a huge fan of not being on fire," Norman replied with a blink. "I mean, pretty sure I'm actually allergic to being on fire. It and I really don't get along."

He would know from something that came WAY too close to being actual experience in that area, yes.

"Yes," Sidon nodded in agreement. "I suspect that this would be an allergy that most people would have. But I believe, other than Death Mountain and a return to the desert, anywhere else would be quite lovely to visit. Well, perhaps not Hebra, either. It wouldn't make much sense to try and escape the cold here, only to just go dashing into it in Hyrule, although the Rito village is right on the edge of that territory, that could be an interesting place to visit. I don't believe we had the chance to meet any Rito on the last visit, not unless you happened to run into them in Gerudo Town. They don't fly into Zora's Domain very often; I imagine they're not too fond of all the dampness with their feathers."

"Feathers?" Norman tilted his head a little bit, thinking back. "Aside from some birds and the dragon," he was still in awe of that dragon, "I don't think we met anything with feathers. Maybe I'm wrong? What are the Rito like?"

"I believe if you had met one," Sidon chuckled a little, "you'd remember. They are another one of Hyrule's sentient races. Bird people. Wonderfully varied in their magnificent plumage and known the world over for their beautiful songs. Oh! Why, Breq would absolutely love that, wouldn't she? Granted, I would hate to assume that she'd be accompanying us again this time, but I do believe that would be a wonderful incentive for her, wouldn't it? Marvelous! And you know, I myself have never been to their village before, either, so it would be an exciting adventure for all of us!"

"It sounds like one," Norman laughed. "And I think all you would have to do to get Breq on board would be to mention the music, yeah."

She was pretty fixated on music, yes.

"I do hope she'll come again," said Sidon, with perhaps a little less confidence than he would have if they were talking about anyone else. He knew she held a very special place in the hearts of his people, a place that she was entirely uncomfortable with, but it would mean so much to him. He smiled, though, just a little. "But I think you're right. I can't see her ever passing up the opportunity to hear Rito song firsthand, and nor should she! They truly know what they're doing when it comes to music!"

"And... see, that's something I want to witness, too," Norman decided. "Cold weather or not. It sounds like a trip worth taking, you know?"

"I'd like to think so!" Sidon agreed wholeheartedly. "But then again, I'm not sure I can exactly think of a trip that wouldn't be worth taking, especially if friends are involved."

Norman leaned his head to the side, mulling that one over.

"I'm sure I could come up with something," he replied. "But I think that's mostly just my own bad experiences talking. Some things, I just wouldn't want to subject my friends to, you know?"

Like, he would absoulutely not take people to Blithe Hollow. They didn't need to eat at the Witchy Wiener. Nobody needed to meet Alvin. And the coolest residents of the whole town were ghosts that only he could see, anyway.
