Second floor common room, Friday evening
There were a lot of things Lana should be looking up and learning about - this "prom" thing, some of the local sites that might be interesting, even Jedi diplomacy back home (she was really wondering after class today). Instead, she had ordered Chinese food (and naturally gotten enough for at least eight people) and settled in in front of the TV.
All it wanted to show, for some reason, were local food shows. Especially one about a man who went to different celebrations everywhere and ate very odd foods. It was oddly fascinating.
Hey, even a Sith needed a vegging evening sometimes.
[Open common room! Come eat the food!]

"Honestly?" she said, as she looked over just what there was before making a decision. "I don't think I've ever been better."
She'd been a little too wrapped up in a happiness bubble to even start thinking about how to tell people that she'd be leaving, really, and normally, she would think that no one would really care, but...she knew that would be a little disingenious of her to think that anymore. At least a few people would care. Or, at least she hoped they would. But it was all still pretty fresh and she maybe wanted to tkeep it as a little secret for a little bit longer...She'd have to think of what to say if Lana asked why. Or maybe just deflect the focus elsewhere.
"How about yourself? Were you effected by the strange weekend at all?"

There was a slight pause.
"Except maybe the dragon part. I'm not sure my ancestors actually fought real dragons."
Because her world was incredibly boring and unmagical and she was actually okay with that, too.

How far she'd come from that wide-eyed girl a year ago who was convinced she'd gone crazy and refused to believe any of it...
...and how she might actually kind of miss some of the crazy, too.

It...did not work.

"Oh, there was a boy named Paris in Sidon's room, so I'm guessing it was her? He said he was a prince."

Not that she imagined she ever would experience something like that again, with going back home. And now that she thought about it that way, she realized that was a pretty good one to be her last one.
And then immediately reprimanded herself because there were still three weeks left. A lot could happen in three weeks, Astrid.

"Well, I hope you get the chance, then," Lana said. "It does make me curious how I might have ended up. Presumably as another Lana, although you said Sabine was an Angela?"

Astrid would be hard-pressed to believe it. Sabine didn't seem like an Angela, not even a little bit, but maybe that was just because Sabine was just so...Sabine to her now.

Yeah, she didn't really seem like an Angela.
