The Deck - Wednesday Late Morning
Guillermo’s handwavey attempt to let Goose!Graham have a go in the bathtub had been a complete and total disaster and so he decided to try again a few days later with a smaller pool of water and set up a kiddie pool like Kurt had suggested.
He had also decided to venture outside on the deck so Graham could be outside and to hopefully make sure that this wasn’t a repeat of the bath tub incident he had made several batches of fresh empanadas tobribe help keep Graham from getting to startled by being outside
“See this isn’t so bad right?” Guillermo said hopefully as he watched Graham splash about in the water and tossed another empanada to him, hopefully Graham didn’t mind that the empanadas were getting slightly wet.

Okay this was kind of cute and Guillermo thought this wasn't a bad way to spend a morning, "this is actually really adorable," he said out loud with a fond smile.

So whether or not such preening was still adorable when Graham was very suddenly back to skin and bones instead of flesh and feathers was up for the peanut gallery to decide.
His confident expression quickly turned to confusion, though, as he found himself his field of vision much higher up than it had been a moment ago, and, despite the warmth of the day, he was quite a bit cooler from the lack of feathers, and he frowned for a moment in confusion (with furrowed brows! He had brows to be furrowed again!), before looking down as he held out his hands, turning them over as if skeptical that they were really there.
"Hey!" he finally concluded. "I'm back!"
Flipping his hands over and over was amazingly fascinating to him in that moment, so there was a moment before he managed to look past them to his knobby knees and his long legs in the water, threatening to push out of the kiddie pool in which he was now just sitting.
"Aaaaaand," he realized, as one other very important detail came to be realized, "I'm naked."
Instinctually, he reached to his side, to get into his cloak to pull out some spare clothing, only to remember that, right. Naked. No cloak. Which probably meant...
Don't mind Graham, now patting at his head with a truly concerned frown at his complete and utter lack of adventurer's cap.
Priorities!

Also a Graham who was very much naked.
“Um … hi…” he squeaked out, turning bright red and holding onto the container of empanadas very tightly as he shifted awkwardly and tried not to make it obvious that he was staring and failing miserably, “um … hi,” he said again, completely at a loss to what to say.

Honestly, the worst of it was not having his cap. He really did feel naked without his...
...oh, wait.
An awkward chuckle started to drift out of Graham as he slowly began to process the precise details of his current situation, hands now discretely lowered. And while Graham hadn't exactly had the most....social of upbringings, there was definitely some kind of deep-seeded fear that existed in probably almost all teenagers to let them know that finding yourself sitting in a kiddie pool as unclad as the day you were born in the middle of the deck of your school dormitory was not exactly ideal, and he could feel the red creeping up on his face practically inch by inch.
Another awkward chuckle, and he figured he'd probably best address the elephant in the room. Errr...friend. In the...on the....deck.
"Uhhhhh," he started, eloquently. "Heyyyyy, there, Guillermo. Uh, nice day for a swim, huh?"
As if to lend credence to this claim, he moved his fingers a little to make a few light splashes. See? Wheeeee! Unbridled summer fun!

“Um … “ he said again, wishing he could maybe say something that was a bit more eloquent but it was Graham and Graham was standing in front of him naked and it should not be possible to blush that much.
He tried to think of something, like maybe offer to go and get him some clothes but that seemed to be too much for his brain to process right then.
“Hi,” he said again.
You already said that Guillermo.

Considering he was as pale as a ghost and that it was a miracle that this much of his exposed skin wasn't just straight up blinding Guillermo right now, he definitely had a lot of work to do there. Not to mention the fact that this much sun already was going to leave him as red as a tomato and not out of embarrassment for at least a week straight....
....the awkwardness was quick to come right back at him.
"Soooo," he tried instead, looking at Guillermo now somewhat worriedly. "I was a goose, huh?"
He'd always wanted to turn into a bird some day, but he was honestly kind of hoping it would have been something like a fierce falcon or a mighty eagle, not....a goose...

Speaking of which, there was definitely something Guillermo had to check that he hadn't inadvertently poisoned his friend of something by feeding him all those empanadas.
"Um ... er ... are you okay?" he was finally able to ask a semi coherent question, "I mean ... I didn't give you food poisoning or something? From the empanadas I mean ... there were a lot of them," he paused, "I mean, I still have more if you're hungry,"
Because that was going to be Graham's concern right then Guillermo.
no subject
"I don't think I could ever say no to more empanadas!" he declared.
So, yes, actually, apparently that was what Graham was concerned with right now. Mostly because he was easily distracted and, in that moment, had sort of forgotten about the whole sitting naked in a pool on the deck of of the dorms of it all.

Also Graham was rather cute and Guillermo was trying so hard to not think about that fact right now.
“Um …” he said shyly and offered out the container of empanadas towards him, “they’re a fresh batch, there was an incident with the bathtub the other day and I thought it was better to have the empanadas ready to go,”
Actually Guillermo didn’t know how much Graham remembered because that bathtub incident had been a lot.

"Heh," he breathed out a sheepish laugh, one of his hands abandoning its past to rub the back of his neck a little, before it went to reach for one of the empanadas. "Yeaaah. Sorry about that. I, um....the water was a little....deep, and I, um, don't actually know how to swim."
Not even as a goose, apparently!
"So I panicked."
He could probably use some of that energy right now, really, truth be told, but there was an empanada, and that meant everything was just fine, why would there be any reason to panic right n---
---aaaaand there it was, as Graham absent-mindedly went to brush a few crumbs from that first bite off his tunic that was not there. He patted his chest just a few times as if to confirm, but, considering his other hand had his empanada, that meant that...
Both hands immediately shot back down to their station.
"Right!" he announced, as much of a reminder to himself as anyone else...or, rather, perhaps more of one, since it was probably unlikely anyone else was forgetting that he was in his current state at the moment. "I need clothes! Clothes are good."
And then, shaking his head, marveling slightly:
"They sure didn't mention that part in any of the spell books I've read!"
Which seemed like a really big oversight, if you asked him.

He hesitated, “are you okay?”
He had nearly drowned his friend, he was feeling terrible.
There was a pause, as he tried to not stare at Graham’s chest and then he registered the last part, “oh, clothes yes,” he finally stammered, “um…would you like me to get you some,” and then a few moments later he registered that he was wearing a jacket, “wait you can …um wear my jacket if you’d like?” he placed down the containers to shrug out of his jacket.

He chuckled a little, the blush on his cheeks just going to a nice, sheepish pink as he wondered if future knights and kings had to face a few...naked moments like this as well.
"But, yeah," he admitted. "The jacket would probably be...good. For now."
Because a jacket was at least more than what else he had!

“I’m just glad I didn’t use bubbles this time,” he admitted, “they would have gone everywhere,”
no subject
Granted, he would have still been a bit distracted about the whole almost-maybe-potentially drowning thing, but bubbles? Bubbles made everything better! Even almost-maybe-potentially drowning!
no subject
There was a pause, “he transformed back in the middle of it and the bathroom was a bit of a mess,” he added, “should I have used the bubbles this time?”
no subject
In hindsight, too, he realized, they probably could have been very helpful in taking care of hiding some of the more...awkward bits of all this, really...
no subject
“Oh,” he blinked, rubbing the back of his neck , “that …it would have made a lot more sense to use the bubbles then,” he considered.
no subject
One of those things was...not like the others, there, Graham, but good luck convincing him that a hummingbird wouldn't be amazing.
