Second floor common room, Saturday morning
When Sairis arrived in the common room, the television was on. There were pictures on it that seemed drawn rather than live people, and they were...definitely odd. Somehow captivating, though.
He made tea absent-mindedly and opted for some of the "cereal" (which still didn't look like it was made from any grain he knew). There was a picture on the box of milk being poured over it, so he tried that. It was sweet, but like the television, oddly good.
So he'd just be eating sugary cereal and watching Saturday morning cartoonsI don't care if they're not a thing anymore.

"No, in! In! Stay in! There! That's it! Good boy! Stay--"
--Henry had mostly mastered the art of making sure Mutt stayed where he was supposed to do. It just, maybe, involved some door-shoving.
But a few seconds later, there he was, dog-less, in the living room. "That do-- oh, hullo, Sairis."

He nodded toward the television. "Have you seen this sort of thing before?"

"Ah, I don't watch that thing," he said. "Even now, I can't look at it for long without my head hurting."

"God," Henry said. "I mean He's a trinity and all that, but still, it's just the one. Or, er, three."

"Is that the god most people here worship?"

"God, like I said," Henry said. "Because He's, you know. The God."

And he vaguely recalled there being something else in scripture, but honestly he hadn't paid attention that day in church and everything was in Latin anyway.

He was starting to get the hang of sleeping in, sort of. His internal clock was still waking him at around 7 am or 8:30 at the latest. Though he did find that he enjoyed eating breakfast in his pajamas.
Hence his venturing into the common room and discovering both Cookie Crisp, and...apparently a cartoon about automobiles that turned into giant automatons.
"Every day's an adventure 'round here ain't it." he said, bemused.
[ooc: apologies in advance if I'm particularly slow in pings, I'm getting back into Dreamlight Valley.]
