Edward waved him off. "Nah, keep it. It came from a lamp-post, remember?" He eyed the bar. "I'm getting something to drink... would you care for anything?"

"Um..well..." Chihaya shrugged. "I don't drink so water is good, I guess." He pulled the spear back to him and hugged it to his chest.

When Edward didn't come back, Chihaya sighed sadly. His hand still clenched around the spear, he left to go home, have a hot soak and do his homework.
