George, wearing flannel jammies and a pair of very fluffy pink slippers that are so not hers, stumbles down the steps and into the Common Room, blinking blearily at the large group of gore-covered students. Beyond all reason there seems to be much merry-making and alcohol involved. She notices someone walk past, a bloody eyeball perched on toe of their shoe.

"Whatever it is that's happened, I don't I want to know." she says loudly, then turns on her heel and heads back up to her dorm room.

That's what I get for attempting to mingle. she thinks to herself. I wonder if there's anything decent on television?

"Hey! You! Where do you think you're going? Do you not see the fine repast here?"

George pauses on the second floor landing and rolls her eyes before glancing over her shoulder at Marty.

"I'm, uh, not really that hungry, thanks. Besides, whatever that slime is you've all bathed in -- it's really disgusting. I think I just threw up a little in my mouth." She shrugs a little and makes a vague gesture with her hands. "But, yeah, it looks like you guys are having a really good time, so you just have at it. Me? I've got a hot date with a Panasonic remote and about 5000 intergalactic television stations."

She turns and begins the long trek back to her dorm room.

"See you in school. Maybe."

((OOC: I was really confused about what was supposed to happen on Friday night other than the Homecoming thing (which George didn't have a date for, and probably wouldn't bother herself to attend in any case, even upon fear of death) thus I missed all of the zombie fun. Sigh. Damn RL and all the responsibility that goes with it!))

[OOC: Zombie invasion was this weekend. Homecoming is on the 7th so you still have time to get a date. I missed the whole zombie fight scene to boot so I know how you feel.]

((OOC: *grins* Yeah, I supppose. Even if RL involves boring stuff like work, and grocery shopping, and cooking dinner. Now one of my dogs seems to have gotten into something he wasn't supposed to and has been ill all morning. Poor puppy.))
