Victory Party in the Common Room

[OOC: Yeah... Of course I come online as soon as Ash makes off with the big boomstick thingie.]

Beverages and Food line the common room. Kick back and enjoy kids.

Angela blushes, more. "I was scared, like, out of my mind," she says.

"You still get an Oscar for being 'Support Gal'."

Angela laughs. "And you get one for Best Flattery by a high school student."

She sips at her drink and waves a hand. "So. To, um, completely change the subject?"

Marty smiles.

"Consider it changed."

"Okay." she laughs a little at the weirdness of this transition, but hey, you can't talk zombies all night. "Do you have any personal feelings about the John Hughes canon?"

Marty cocks an eyebrow at her.

"I've seen Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller a couple dozen times, but I haven't made a commitment to them yet."

"So you like Breakfast Club," she says, taking a sip from her drink. "Because Rory and I have this idea..."

"If it involves me dressing up like Molly Ringwald, I'm going to have issues."

Angela grins. "Actually, I get to be Molly Ringwald. Rory would be what's her name, the freaky girl, though she says it has to be post-makeover. Logan would be Emilio Estevez. And, um, you could be Bender."

She looks at him. "Comb your hair out and dress all grungy, and ... your ear isn't pierced, is it?"

"No. But it can be. I think we can get Red to do the job."

[OOC: Do we still have his cubs?]

"Or we could try and find clip-ons. You know, just in case you don't want to permanantly mutilate yourself for a costume party."

"But ... so you're good with the concept?"

[OOC: I'm not sure. Hopefully Shane kept track of them.]

"As long as I'm not dressing up like Molly Ringwald or Ally Sheedy, I'm okay with it. Plus Judd Nelson was a total badass in the movie. I still think Rory should go grunge though."

"But you were so hot in drag yesterday," Angela says lightly.

Then, "I like the whole racoon-eyes, all-in-black look better myself. But I'm not sure it's, like, Rory, so..."

"She's totally missing the point of 'come as you aren't' which suprisingly was her idea."

"As for drag... does dressing up in a halter top, cams and combat boots really count as drag?"

Angela notices that Rory has entered the room and decides to drop that subject until they can discuss it with her.

"I'm pretty sure it does. Sorry."

She takes another sip of her drink.

"I mean, it's, like, the most badass drag ever, but drag."

"Connor left me a message that I think threatened my chicken. I could be in trouble."

"You're kidding," Angela says, laughing and choking. Once she's coughed and swallowed, she adds, "where is Camilla, anyhow? I didn't see her on the Zombie-fighting front lines."

"We're having trust issues after I dressed her up as

apocalypsesoon she's been hiding under my bed ever since."

[OOC: Spider asked me to do study hall again on Monday. Still thinking up crazy scheme.]

"Ah. That's very sad, a chicken with ... trust issues. Someday, though," Angela says, earnestly, putting her hand on his arm, "I'm sure she'll learn to trust you again."

[OOC: Awesome.]

"I hope so. Have you ever tried to live with a peeved muppet chicken?"

[OOC: Can we just follow our conversation here now. My e-mail is going nuts!]

"I have never tried to live with a chicken of any sort," Angela says, smiling. She truns a hand through her hair and sees it come put slimed with greenish zombie goo. Shuddering, she says, "I really should take that shower and get some sleep. You do too, okay?"

[OOC: Not a problem, and I'll see you Monday if not tomorrow.]

Marty hands her a napkin for her hand and gives her a zombie-goo free goodnight kiss.

"You go get some rest. I see a muppet over there who might need a drinking partner."
