"Oh, geh. I haven't even thought about food since that stupid raiding party. And let me warn you to NEVER EAT IN THE CAFETERIA AGAIN. I saw that chef guy lugging POTS of zombieflesh." Edward wrinkled his nose and threw back more rum.

Edward cocks an eyebrow at his choice of food. "...okay, are you trying to starve yourself, or what?"

Hotaru pales slightly at Ed's words. "And here I thought the roasted zombie from last night was bad," she intoned.

Sakura squealed softly upon noticing Hotaru.

"Tomoe-san!" she sidled up to her roommate, tapping her lightly on the arm with the back of her fingers. "I haven't seen you much lately, how've you been?"

Hotaru turns her head, grinning wearily. "Alright. Tired, though, because I overdid it last night, but otherwise fine." She continues to munch down as many lactose-lacking calories as she can, because, damnit, she is TIRED AND HUNGRY and WILL NEVER USE THAT MUCH POWER EVER again. Unless she has to blow the world up again. But oh well.

"How have you been, Kinomoto-san?" Hotaru asks in reply.

Sakura grinned, feeling amazingly exuberant considering the lack of events the evening had held for her.

"Pretty good," she sipped at her drink again, and passed a look at Ed. "This thing is really good!" she said, pointing at the bottle. "I should have tried them sooner." She turned back to Hotaru. "Killin' zombies and sleepin' in the library... this school's an adventure I've never dealt with before." She smiled, content.

Hotaru eyed the bottle suspiciously. "...Is that alcohol, Kinomoto-san?" Hotaru demanded, looking even paler, if possible.

One thing she'd learned was that senshi powers and alcohol do not mix well. Thus, the little girl with the BIG glaive started edging away. She had an almost unhealthy fear of the stuff.

Sakura blinked, looking at the bottle in her hand again.

"Yeah," she said offhandedly, glacning back up to Hotaru, titling her head. "That a problem...?"

Hotaru looked rather ill. "P-probably not for you," Hotaru squeaked in Japanese. "But... eerm..." Hotaru was trying to become one with the wall behind her and failing miserably, because that was Moofy's party trick.

Sakura raised one eyebrow, and shrugged.

"You don't have to have any, I just wanted to try it. This stuff is really good, actually."

Hotaru chuckled nervously. "Can we just say I've had bad experiences with people under the influence?" The dark-haired girl shakes her head a bit, wincing and dropping to her knees.

Sakura made a face, finishing off her drink quickly.

"Tomoe-san, you worry too much. Maybe you should go back to the room and sleep." she offered, and turned to swat at Ed's sleeve to get his attention. "Where'd you snag this thing from? I wanna snag another."

Hotaru, of course, was deaf to Sakura at that time, concentrating on trying to beat Mistress 9 down and failing miserably. For the second time this week, Hotaru's hair and form grew. Mistress 9 looked surprisingly sedate.

"How interesting," she mused, hair moving of its own will.

Roy glares at him. "I didn't exactly see any giant loaves of freshly oven-baked bread over there, you know. It's all salvaged stuff. I've got chips and beer and water and snackable vegetables. I like snackable vegetables. I'm certainly not going to eat those "twinky" things if I can't figure out what's in them by looking at them."

He fishes a hand in his pocket and pulls out several (five or six) candy bars. "Besides, right here I've got my sugar content for the next...um... twenty minutes."

Edward scratched the back of his head. Sheesh, Mustang was testy tonight. "Jeez, calm down. I don't have any freshly oven-baked bread, but if you feel up to snapping, I've got a bag of frozen burgers in my mini-fridge. Not enough for everyone at the party, thou'." He grinned then, completely sloshed.

Roy looked at him hard.

This kid is completely plastered. ...Hah! Made him less of an annoyance, that was sure.

Burgers *do* sound good...

"Nah. I'm too tired right now. And I've lit enough things on fire for a few days." He stuffs some Doritos in his mouth. "These'll do, but thanks."


((OOC: right now, I'm playing it that Roy hasn't actually *seen* Ed transmute anything except his arm and then only seen it after it was already transmuted... he wasn't fighting near Edward nor did Ed do anything around him before the battle. So Roy doesn't really realize yet that Edward actually doesn't use a circle at all.))

Edward shrugs. "S'alright, then. Offer stands later if you ever need real food. I tend to keep my fridge stock 'cause the cafeteria scares the piss outta me."
