IKEA trip, Tuesday daytime

Bundled up against the grey January mist, Angela sits in the second floor common room and
waits for people to join her.

She is really looking forward to some time off-island, she thinks, as she checks her

Jake wanders in, coffee (http://pics.livejournal.com/courier_gavin/pic/000r889b/g1) in hand. The time is closer to 12:30 than 12, so he's not sure if he's on time or not. If everybody's left already, he's planning to find a couch and continue reading about the exciting adventures of the Spycatcher.

Parker wandered around looking at the wardrobes, half-wishing she'd grabbed one of these last month for Jarod, instead of the one she did get. "We're looking for lamps, right? Do we have a budget, or can we get whatever?"

"On the other hand, it's not like that isn't typical of our lives or anything."

He read the name again. "...You know, I think if someone makes something and then names it a joke, we should maybe take the hint."

Burdened by a heavy sack containing her bedding, prints and rugs, and with the furniture delivery scheduled for tomorrow, Angela goes through checkout.

She doesn't even wince much at how much money she just spent.
