First Floor Lobby: Welcome The New Students

A table full of food (including some suspicious looking cupcakes) and drinks sit in the lobby. A bunch of name tags sit next to the food so that everyone can write their name down.

Blair blinked slowly. "Okay. School is different. I hear that. I once lived with a tribe that was afraid of autumn because they thought the leaves were pieces of the sky that were falling. I'm from...all over. Naomi and I travel a lot and I don't live in one place for too long. I just got in from Chile today, and I was there for about 4 months."

"Sorry if that was a bit too much at once," Cameron offers sheepishly. "Sounds cool, though, I've been as far as Mexico and that's pretty much it. Naomi's your sister?" He guesses.

"Mexico's awesome! I stayed with a burro farmer there once." Blair grinned, "Naomi's my mom actually...we're a little laid back in titles."

"Oh! My mom would have a fit if I started calling her by her firstname. I have no clue what a burro farmer is, but it sounds cool. You think you're going to be able to hold it out here for the rest of the school year?" He asks with a smile.

"I hear that. Some people get really hung up on titles, and I've learned that you got to go with the flow, you know?" Blair grinned. "I'm going to go check and see if I can find my room. I need to unpack my bag." Blair shifted the backpack that was on his shoulder and waved as he looked around the room.

Blair laughed, "Same to you, I guess!"

He sure hoped he was just kidding, but he wasn't so sure. It was time to find a quiet place to process all of this, and meditate for about an hour.
