First Floor Lobby: Welcome The New Students

A table full of food (including some suspicious looking cupcakes) and drinks sit in the lobby. A bunch of name tags sit next to the food so that everyone can write their name down.

Somehow Isabel managed to pull the door open and get both herself and her baggage through without getting stuck.

Eyeing the people gathered in the room a bit warily, she approached the sign in table.

Yuffie came in with an over stuffed bag slung over her shoulder, another stuffed bag in her hands. She looked around her as she walked in- where had dad found this place anyway? She nearly bumped into the sign-in table as she looked around, but recovered quickly, a bright smile on her face.

"Well, here I am. This where I sign in or whatever?"

Blair walked through the front door and looked around at the crowd. Seeing the area for new students to sign in, he headed over to grab a name tag.

The clop clop cloping of a horse can be heard outside. Shortly there after the sound of a young female voice ordering "Forward march!" Pippi pushes open the door with one hand and carries a large old leather luggage bag in the other. A monkey in a shirt, tie, and straw hat sits on her shoulder.

She catches sight of the sign in table and goes looking for her name.

"Hi! I'm Pippi Longstockings. And this is Mr. Neilson."

Cordelia wanders into the lobby, looking vaguely frightened, but holding her head high. She eyes a table with name tags piled on to it and walks over to it.

"I hate being a new kid," she mutters, as she takes out a pen and writes 'Cordelia Chase' on a blank name tag.

Snagging a label from the end of the table she quickly scribbles "MAC" in large black letters and sticks it to her shirt. Might be a good idea if people actually knew who she was.

Pip quickly stubs out a cigarette under his foot and slips into the dorms. Sweeping the room with his one remaining eye, he approaches the sign in table.

Alphonse meekly looked into the dorms, striding in slowly. There were a lot of people in this place...

Spotting the sign at a table, he walked by.

Molly pulled open the front door and blinked in surprise at the large gathering. Then she spotted the table full of food. "Cupcakes!"

Entering the room fully, she slung her duffel bag into a corner, headed straight for the food table and grabbed a cupcake.

Glancing around at the other people gathered in the halls, Togusa walked to the table and carefully signed his name. Most of the time, he had terrible handwriting. Not good for reports and the like.

Macbeth made his ... rather cautious way... into the building, carrying nothing with him but the clothes on his back and the pencil in his hand.
He was lost. He was confused.
He was supposed to be dead, wasn't he? Those blasted bearded women were playing some terrible game with him, he was certain of it.
But, here was indeed here, Macduff hadn't taken his head, and he was surrounded by many a person that he had never seen before, wearing clothing that he would never wear of his own accord, and in the body of a fifteen-year-old boy.

What else was there to do?

He fidgeted as he stood there, looking around with one eyebrow raised.

Jessica sets down her bags and stands in the lobby doorway for quite some time. She finally gathers up enough courage, picks up her bags, and walks as gracefully as she can manage to the sign in table.

Logan prodded a cupcake. It seemed safe enough, if not the prettiest of cupcakes, so he took a bite. "Marty," he nodded, and flopped down on a couch.

Lockheed decided to have some fun.

He flew into the lobby and set two things down. First was a large tray of cookies that certainly didn't look to be a few weeks old. Second was a plaque with a burned duck on it.

He was curious to see how people would react to either item.

she smiles cautiously. "I'm guessing this is probably the right place for me to be?"

Nadia sort of wanders in sideways, as she's peering back over her shoulder at the school, the town, the island, well. Pretty much everything. She's got a very battered canvas backpack thrown over the same shoulder. She finally turns to look at the room and sort of freezes for a moment.

She takes a very long breath.

"Hi."

Her eyes brushing over the items of architectural interest, Lyta stops just before the sign-in table, miraculously able to avoid bumping into others, though her attention seems to be elsewhere. Looking down, she offers a smile to Marty Blank, then looks down further to the name tags.

Shep sees the new red head signing in. She looks a little... bewildered, so he approaches slowly. "Hey there. I'm John Sheppard. But everyone just calls me Shep. You look a little... lost. Anything I can help with?"
