Sophomore Class Stu-Co Meeting 4th Floor CR: Saturday Evening

Lana and Lilly have gone to some trouble to straighten up the common room and get it ready for the meeting. Hopefully they'll get a decent turn-out and be able to get some stuff figured out for the school elections. A couple of Lilly's posters are hung up on either side of the door so everyone will know this is the right place.

Lana and Lilly are both there early just in case. Lana's a little on the nervous side, but Lilly's calm and composed.

There is pizza and soda set out on a table, along with a bowl of M&M's, a few bowls with chips, and some brownies.


Come on in, mix and mingle with the other sophomores, and help us decide who wants to run for Student Council.

Shep shuffles in, still in his pajamas, with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He's clearly got the flu, but dragged himself out of his room because Lana expected him to be there.

With something of a grunt he dropped onto the end of a couch, pulled his blanket up to his ears and curled up in a little ball. He'd said he'd be there. Not that he'd be conscious.

Lana goes over and sits beside him, stroking his hair a little, and dropping a kiss on his forehead. "You're sweet to come when you're feeling so bad. Can I get you anything?"

Shep mumbles something absolutely unintelligable - even to himself - into the blanket and snuggles into Lana's hand. After a second he tries the whole speaking thing again. "I don't think you want to be kissing me... I have no idea if I'm still contagious."

She continues playing with his hair, knowing how much he enjoys it. "It's all right," she says. "You're totally worth the risk."

"uh uh... this isn't trust me. This sucks beyond words." He sighs and says the exact oposite of what he really wants to. "Besides you don't have to sit here and babysit me. You have people to entertain." He waves vaguely at the people starting to fill up the room.



[ooc: the mun is now armed with orange juice and soup and *may* stay awake for more than 10 minutes at a stretch. But if I don't answer after a while, feel free to cover Shep with Mickey Mouse for Sophomore class posters or paint his toes with glitter nail polish or whatever. Anything semi-permanant should make the first day of classes interesting. ;) Consider him dead to the world on NyQuil and consider the mun pretty easy going about such things.]

Lana looks at the others, "Well, I suppose I do have to mingle a bit. But I'll be back." She strokes his hair one last time and kisses his head before getting up reluctantly.
