Sophomore Class Stu-Co Meeting 4th Floor CR: Saturday Evening

Lana and Lilly have gone to some trouble to straighten up the common room and get it ready for the meeting. Hopefully they'll get a decent turn-out and be able to get some stuff figured out for the school elections. A couple of Lilly's posters are hung up on either side of the door so everyone will know this is the right place.

Lana and Lilly are both there early just in case. Lana's a little on the nervous side, but Lilly's calm and composed.

There is pizza and soda set out on a table, along with a bowl of M&M's, a few bowls with chips, and some brownies.

Come on in, mix and mingle with the other sophomores, and help us decide who wants to run for Student Council.

Pretty self-explanatory, I think. :)

Shep shuffles in, still in his pajamas, with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He's clearly got the flu, but dragged himself out of his room because Lana expected him to be there.

With something of a grunt he dropped onto the end of a couch, pulled his blanket up to his ears and curled up in a little ball. He'd said he'd be there. Not that he'd be conscious.

Lily had seen the posters up earlier in the day, and thought she should at least check it out. Besides, it might be nice to get more involved in helping the student body.

Walking into the common room, she smiled and waved to the two girls already there.

Lana goes over and sits beside him, stroking his hair a little, and dropping a kiss on his forehead. "You're sweet to come when you're feeling so bad. Can I get you anything?"

Jessica comes in and begins munching on chips.

Lilly camps out on a couch with a soda, waiting for a few more people to show, giving Lana a smile now and again to try and help soothe Lana's nervous energy.

There's free pizza. People will totally show up.

"Hi, Lily, right?" Lana smiles at her. "I'm glad you came. We really weren't sure what kind of turn-out we'd get."

Shep mumbles something absolutely unintelligable - even to himself - into the blanket and snuggles into Lana's hand. After a second he tries the whole speaking thing again. "I don't think you want to be kissing me... I have no idea if I'm still contagious."

Lana goes over to her, "Hey, I'm Lana Lang. I've seen you around, but I don't think we've met. Thanks for Coming out."

Lana smiles over at Lilly, grinning a little at herself over her sudden case of the nerves. "I know, I'm being silly."

Allie comes down to the common room at Lilly's assistance. She grabs a soda and sits next to her roommate.

She continues playing with his hair, knowing how much he enjoys it. "It's all right," she says. "You're totally worth the risk."

Paige wanders in and heads over to Lily, "Hey I've not seen you about lately, I just wanted to check you got you're present, I left it outside your door just before the semester ended."

"Jessica Atreides. I think it's a good idea, meeting like this. Gives us an opportunity to organize this time around."

Paige helps herself to a some pizza, she was sure Sawyer could fend for himself with regards to food.

Lana smiles at her, "Hey, Allie."

"Yes, and you're... Lana, if I remember correctly. I saw the posters - I'm sad to say I'm not even completely sure who the other sophomores are, exactly," she says, looking a bit embarrassed. "It's about time to step up and get plugged in, I should think."

"Yep, I'm Lana. That's kind of the way I felt. How sad that I had to look up the students in the directory to figure out who was a sophomore."

"That's what we thought. There's only like 21 of us. No reason why we can't get together and decide how we want our class represented, right?"

Jessica greets her, "Hey. I'm Jessica Atreides."

Lana smiles at Chiana, "Hey, glad you could come!"

Paige goes over to Chiana, "so how are you after New Years?" shes asks a little worriedly
