Sophomore Class Stu-Co Meeting 4th Floor CR: Saturday Evening

Lana and Lilly have gone to some trouble to straighten up the common room and get it ready for the meeting. Hopefully they'll get a decent turn-out and be able to get some stuff figured out for the school elections. A couple of Lilly's posters are hung up on either side of the door so everyone will know this is the right place.

Lana and Lilly are both there early just in case. Lana's a little on the nervous side, but Lilly's calm and composed.

There is pizza and soda set out on a table, along with a bowl of M&M's, a few bowls with chips, and some brownies.


Come on in, mix and mingle with the other sophomores, and help us decide who wants to run for Student Council.

"Yeah, you are," Lilly says with a smile. "But that's okay. We're in a dorm and there is free food, it's guaranteed to be fine. And don't worry about the elections. I mean, it's not life or death, believe me."

"I know. I don't even know that I really want to run. I just felt like somebody should do something! Actually, my secret hope kind of is that enough people will really want the position that I don't have to."

"I still think you should run. I mean, the more good people for the positions the better, right? You have the right attitude, at least I think you do, wanting to help out and stuff. And no matter how Student Council goes, you can still totally be active in class stuff, so it is win-win."

"Exactly. And from what I can tell everyone in our class is pretty chill anyway. So it won't be like ridiculously scary or embarrassing like out of an 80s teen movie. You'll chat some people up and make a few posters. The worst thing that could happen would be a paper cut."

Lilly smirks, and grabs a few chips. "Just don't huff the markers, and you'll be fine."
