Sophomore Class Stu-Co Meeting 4th Floor CR: Saturday Evening

Lana and Lilly have gone to some trouble to straighten up the common room and get it ready for the meeting. Hopefully they'll get a decent turn-out and be able to get some stuff figured out for the school elections. A couple of Lilly's posters are hung up on either side of the door so everyone will know this is the right place.

Lana and Lilly are both there early just in case. Lana's a little on the nervous side, but Lilly's calm and composed.

There is pizza and soda set out on a table, along with a bowl of M&M's, a few bowls with chips, and some brownies.


Come on in, mix and mingle with the other sophomores, and help us decide who wants to run for Student Council.

Lana's face turned pale when she heard his name. "Archie. Right. Um, well... I'm glad you came, um... everyone here is really nice and welcoming. I just... I have to...um, you know." She waved randomly in the direction of the couch "So, right. Help yourself to the pizza and soda."

Then she fled back to the sofa.

"What the hell?" Archie managed after a very confused moment. Frustrated by the fact that he seemed to be missing out on something, combined with his lingering unease at being around unfamiliar people, he helped himself to a soda and sipped at it in silence.

Lilly sensed something weird was going on when she saw Lana's reaction to Archie, and went over to see what his story was, making a note to check on Lana later.

"Hey, I'm Lilly Kane, the dead girl. What's your story?"

"Archie Kennedy, the dead sailor," he replied with an uneasy smile. "Rory Gilmore mentioned something about you."

"She did, huh? Well, it was probably true. But don't hold it against me," she says in a decently friendly tone. She could really give a crap less when it comes to what Rory Gilmore thinks of her, although rumors were always annoying.

"So, are you thinking about running for Student Council?"

"It was nothing bad," Archie said quickly. "Only that you were dead. I think she meant it as encouragement for me. As for Student Council -- well, I'm not sure exactly. I don't know what good I would be."
