Second floor common room: Sunday evening (after the Juniors have their meeting)

Barbossa feels that it's time to enlighten the new students (and faculty, should they feel like attending).

So he's gone through his archival footage of the last semester and tried to pull up video, audio, and photos of what makes Fandom High such a...unique...place to be.

He has put his copy of the holiday pageant into the common room's VCR first, but he also has tape of Annie the Vampire Slayer, the Strip Triad tournament, footage from Zombie Weekend, and Talky Toaster hitting on absolutely everything that walked past him.

In addition there's a copy of Jake's radio apology to Logan (and the song requests), the broadcast of the night Angel got souled, and photographs of Logan as a bunny, Cam as a puppy, John Crichton as Johnina, Marty as Connor, Anders wearing makeup after his first encounter with a gremlin, and the JA leather show.

If you ask him nicely, he'll even sell you a copy of Anakin's version of Little Bunny Foo Foo. He'll definitely let you watch the entire night's work of one Mr. Canute Mimir Fluffypants.

"Owwwwwwwww! GOD damn you little bastards!" Parker dropped a hammer-punch on the head of the one that got her, staggering back and holding her leg. "Broots, run!"

In Broots's book, abandoning a girl in trouble was equal to betraying your country. Even if that girl was capable of beating you up easily. "As if." Broots aimed his own kick at the little annoying fuzzy thing.

The gremlin that had bitten Parker fell to the ground in a daze. There was no way it would be avoiding Broots' kick.

Which made it a very lucky thing for the poor dazed gremlin that it had come with a friend.

As Broots drew back his foot, the second creature launched itself at his stable leg, aiming low this time since there was no danger of getting kicked. It bit down on Broots' ankle and then jumped back out of reach, dragging off the first gremlin as Broots reacted to the bite.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow...." Everything was begining to be fuzzy, and Parker clutched her head.

"Damn...."

"...What's going on?" J.C. Broots looked around, and squinted. "Miss Parker?"

He got to his feet, and then pouted. "Why are you carrying my computer?"

Krycek came in from the common room (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/371711.html?thread=15809791#t15809791), after hearing what sounded suspiciously like yelling, and frowned at Parker and Broots. "Everything okay out here?"

Broots blinked at Krycek, clutching J.C. to him. "Sure. Yeah. I was j-just, uh. Just gonna watch the pageant?" he asked, hoping Krycek wasn't mad about the inconvenience. "If that's okay?"

"Parker?" Krycek frowned. "Yeah, that's fine... I heard some yelling, though. You sure you're all right?"

Following Krycek outside to investigate the scream, Bridge looks at the three of them. "Did something weird happen again?" he asks.

Broots edged around the guy in the hallway, and shot Miss Parker a look of dismay. Clearly, Krycek had been bitten by a gremlin. Or maybe he ate the cafeteria food. They'd have to humor him.

"S-sure. I just want to see the pageant. I didn't get to see it last time. I heard it was funny." He cleared his throat. "So, I'm going in there now. To the common room," he said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Krycek looked at Bridge, then back at Parker, sharply. "Don't go anywhere, yet." He addressed Bridge while watching Parker, thinking something was definitely up. "Something's happened, all right. I don't think I've ever heard Parker stutter before."

After the bite, Broots felt disoriented for a moment but now..."Me? Stutter? Krycek, you feeling all right? The minion stutters, I am eloquent."

"I asked you not to call me that," Broots muttered, glowering at his feet. "Especially in front of other people."

Parker rolled her eyes. "It's not a title, it's a description. You act like a minion, I call you that. And it's just Krycek and Bridge."

Bridge's eyes go wide. He looks over at Krycek.

"Gremlin bite?" he mouths.

Miss Parker snapped her fingers. "Try that again a little louder?"

Krycek grimaced and nodded at Bridge. "Has to be." To "Parker" he narrowed his eyes. "I heard you yelling a few minutes ago, that's why I came out here. Do you remember what happened?"

Parker rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I was watching the tapes from last semester. The minion." She jerked her head at "Broots" "Wanted to be annoying."

"I-I have a right not to be yelled at," Broots protested. "And, and, you already saw it! You said so!" He grumbled to himself, then scratched his thigh, looking disgruntled.

Taking a step away, Broots pitched forward. Because Parker wears three-inch heels that Broots is completely incapable of navigating. Or realizing are there.

"Whoa..." Bridge says, and intercepts 'Broots' before they hit the ground. He notes the gremlin bite, and the fact that the other person, whoever they were, kept using the word 'minion'. Plus, something was just... off. This was not the dude he was used to. "Broots?" he asks, cautiously.

"Thanks, man. Whoa. Head-rush." Broots looked embarassed, then his face creased in dismay. "J.C.! Oh, no!" He pulled away from Bridge and crawled to the computer. "Please be okay, please be okay..."

Blair wandered down the hallway, debating whether he should go to Angel's to pick up socks.

Seeing Parker and Bridge up ahead he slowed down to say hi. Only... "Uh- What?"

Miss Parker rolled her eyes again. "Broots, you care more about that laptop than the fact that you just fell! And then you wonder why I insult you. Jeez."

With the throwing about of "minion" and the tone "Parker" was taking with "Broots", Krycek had a good idea of what their relationship was like. Seeing Parker crawl after a laptop was possibly going to scar him mentally though. He looked up as the new person joined them, sighing. "Gremlin bite. They've changed personalities. It'd be funny if it weren't really damn disturbing."

"Gremlin?" Blair's eyes widened. "Broots and...Parker? That's...um...whoa. Are they...you know...stuck there? Can we switch 'em back? Like medicine? Anti-gremlin syrup or something?"

Bridge shrugs. "They'll be back to normal eventually," he says. "Within a day or two, usually, but it's not an exact science, you know?"
