Boys-Only Valentine's Day Strategic Session (Sixth Floor Common Room, 7:30PM FHT)

Okay, so it's a little dusty in here. Anders grabs one of the couch cushions and gives the tables and chairs a quick wipedown. Then, coughing, he straightens up the rest of the couch cushions and lays out the several trays' worth of loot from Jeff, the God of Biscuits on the countertop. He's a little bit out of breath by the time he runs down to his room and back up for the sodas, cups, and chips, but everything is pretty much good to go for tonight's big guys-only brainstorming session.

He flops down onto one of the couches and waits for John and whoever else might show up.

Blair clears his throat and pulls a stack of papers out of his backpack. "I did a lot of research on the internet and came up with some gift (http://www.asensationalgiftshop.com/Gifts_for_Women/gifts_for_women.html) ideas. I don't really know if they're good or not. Jewelry and lotions seem nice, but I don't really know about the Elvis teddy bear."

"Well, I don't wanna ruin what I got Walter, but definitely get something that shows you pay attention to him or her. Anyone can give a present, but it takes heart to give something that means something, y'know? Like, let's say I wanted to get Anders here a present. I know he likes to work out a lot, so instead of just giving him a gift card or something, I could give him a gym membership, or some weights, or whatever. You get what I'm saying?"

Xander (who came in just in time to hear Blair's comments on jewelry, but didn't want to interrupt the rapidly digressing conversation) coughed during a lull.

"Can I say if you're gonna do jewelry, and this is from the guy who mostly came to give What not To Do On Valentine's Day advice, for the good of humanity, don't go whole hog on the expensive stuff if you haven't been together that long, or you're not sure how into you they are? Because if you should happen to, say, get dumped the next day? You're kind of out a girlfriend and a wad of cash."

Peter was dumped via e-mail a month ago. He wasn't big on the Valentine's thing at the moment, but he felt there could be fun had here. So he mostly stayed back and listened.
