3rd Floor Common Room - 6PM Fandom Time - PARTY!!!

At promply 6:00, Victor can be heard running up and down the stairs yelling "FREE FOOD! 3RD FLOOR!" Any who decides to investigate will find several tables full of various foods set up in the third floor common room. A delicious combination of smells wafts from the display, and several students are standing and waiting to serve you. The entrees are:

Table 1: Sweedish Meatballs, Various Pickled Herrings, and Pancakes

Table 2: Homemade Spaghetti with Garlic Bread

Table 3: Coq au vin (Basically rooster stew cooked with red wine)

Table 4: Cock and Bull Stew (Chicken, beef cubes, tomatoes, potatoes, spices)

Table 5: Warm Apple Pie (Whipped Cream optional)

Table 6: Rice Balls and Sushi, courtesy of Sakura! Yum!

There are a couple of unfolded tables just in case someone decides to add something to the buffet. There is also a table filled with disposable plates, cups, bowls, and utensils, as well as napkins. In the corner are a variety of bottled juices and sodas in an ice chest.

And, as promised, there are Twinkies. Boxes and boxes of Twinkies.

"There are enough choices that you should be able to find something you want." Walter kept his smile steady with a little effort.

Nadia nodded slightly. "I see that. Look, Walter." She took a deep breath. "I just wanted to say, I'm sorry, I won't do anything about . . . anything, and that I just want to stay friends. Okay?"

There. She said it. It didn't kill her. Veronica might even have been right.

Walter nodded immediately. "Okay." His smile loosened up a little, but he couldn't help feeling bad for Nadia. That couldn't have been any easier than his apology to Logan on Sunday.

"I would really like that."

Nadia's smile widened again. "Okay." She let out a long breath. "So! How are you?"

"Other than trying to avoid the twinkie brigade?" He smirked toward the people gathered at the boxes of twinkies. "Boring. I haven't done anything interesting all week. Tell me a good story."

"I drenched Marty twice today." Not Nadia's most ineteresting story, but she wasn't going to tell him any of those.

"How and why did you drench Marty? That's not quite as fun as the glitter idea, but you were right about the roommates."

"Plus, should I get caught for it, I can just tell him Parker asked me to, and paid me for it, to boot." Nadia smirked. "First, it was a water bomb as he left his room this morning. Then I got him with a supersoaker at lunch. And somehow, I don't think he ever noticed it was me."

Walter laughed and clapped his hands quietly. "Do you know why Parker wanted it done? And is he usually that unaware of what is going on around him?"

"That's the thing." Nadia frowned. "I don't think he is. There's something . . . other . . . about him today."

Walter frowned in return. "Other in a Fandom other sort of way, or even more other than that?"

Nadia shook her head. "I don't know, yet."

"It's probably nothing. Maybe he sang something to someone this weekend and is distracted." He grimaced as he realized he'd probably stuck his foot in his mouth and tried to recover in silliness. "But be careful in case he was actually eaten by a giant bug or something."

"A giant bug?" Nadia decided to completely let the 'singing' comment fly past. She shook her head. "I shouldn't laugh. Around here it could totally happen."

"After snowmen? Yeah, you're right about that. Now you have me curious about this Marty guy. Let me know if you need help in any further pranks. You know I'm always up for mischief."

"Will do. We'd make a good team." Her eyes widened slighlty. "For playing mean tricks on other people."

"We need to find someone who lives in a single to use your glitter idea on." Walter chose to ignore her slight gaffe as she had kindly ignored his. "Or two roommates who deserve to be pranked."

Nadia nodded. "Yeah. Hrm. Who would be good to prank?"

This is good. They're interacting in a friendly way. Veronica was definitely right. Yay!

"Nobody is on my hit list at this point. Although the tried and true bucket over the door trick would be a good one to use on the substitute principal. Just filled with glitter instead. From his announcements, I would think he would appreciate the 'rock' factor."

Walter almost managed to keep a straight face while saying the last part.

Nadia's eyes went wide. "We totally should! I think I know where we can get the glitter, too. And the bucket. And apparently, just about anything else."

"Brilliant! I know someone who may have already helped me in getting into that locked office at unnamed point in the past."

Grinning, he bounced up on his toes and looked around, but didn't spot Pip offhand. "I'll see if he's interested."

"If not, I bet I could get us in." Nadia bounced slightly. "This'll be great!"

"Yes, although I was disappointed with my last prank on him. We had some great reactions from Smith. This Dewey fellow didn't have anything to say about it."

"What was the prank?"

He grinned evilly. "Someone who will remain unnamed helped me by hacking his office speakers to play nothing but 'it's a small world' over and over again."
