Rory lounged on a couch in the common room, watching The Sampsons and giggling intermittently.

Vladdie, on the other hand, was busy nosing a ball back and forth across the floor, concentrating diligently.

Cordy frowned for a moment. "Yes. I also saw a poster blaming us for casting people who didn't audition. Do you know anything about that?"

"Jakey was auditioning people against their will by impersonating them," Rory sighed. "And the pirate sent in tapes or something. But we get the blame. Lovely."

Cordy rolled her eyes and took a bite of her pizza.

"Great. Just what I need, the entire student body hating me for something that's not my fault. And blaming you, too. That sucks."

"Yeah, but whatever," Rory said with a shrug. "I've dealt with this kind of thing before. Better to just take it in stride and make it fun, y'know?"

Xander chose that moment to enter, and shot a mild glare at the two of them. "Oh look, it's the directors of my Bottom." He sounded thrilled. Really.

"You can't back out," Rory said pleadingly. "I'll do just about anything, seriously."

Xander was not an evil person. Really, he wasn't. Someties in need of a little moral guidance, but not evil.

But there's evil and then there's resisting a golden opportunity to yank the chain of somebody who has no idea you've already been told you have to do what they want you to do anyway.

"Anything?" He waggled an eyebrow.

"UM," Cordy says, turning rather red.

"Is this school-sanctioned?" jaye wonders innocently.

"I didn't think we could access those kind of channels," Cordy said, attempting to not look at the tv screen.

"If you call the cable company, someone might lynch you," says Jaye.

Who tilts her head for a better view.

Logan blinked at the screen, pizza halfway to his mouth.

"OH MY GOD!" Rory shrieked, flailing about. "Am I sitting on the remote? Because, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God."

Rory's "Oh my God"s were really a bit different than the ones coming from the TV as she picked up the remote from the cushion beside her and frantically pressed a button.

Sadly, it was not the channel button, but the volume. The moans got louder.

"ACK!" Cordy yells. "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

"ACK! LOUDER!" She flailed more. "WHAT IS THIS? WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO EACH OTHER? DIRTY WRONG BAD AGH!"

She pressed another button on the scarily complicated remote and turned everything greenish before changing the channel to a documentary on lions.

"What the hell was that?" Cordy asked the room, but was glaring at Xander in particular.

"Cordy!" Logan waved. "Director person. We should talk." He grabbed a slice of pizza for himself.

Cordy turns to Logan. "Um, okay," she said, nervously. "What's up?"

"I don't act," he said.

Cordy groaned. "I'm sorry! We didn't do the casting, and I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to do anything about the choices!" she said, flailing her arms a little.

Logan put a hand on her arm to calm her down. [Tag!] "Can you try? Please?"

Cordy sighed. "I'll see what I can do," she said. "I'll talk to Principal Finn."
