Brunch to Save the Teal Deer, Lobby, 11 a.m. through the afternoon

As the poster promised, there are bacon, eggs and toaster strudel available in the dorm lobby. There's even extra icing for the strudel, and gallons of coffee. It probably smells amazing.

But to get to this bounty, you need to fork over $2. Somebody will probably press a teal deer awareness button at you, too.

What to do? The coffee and strudel do look good...

"What did you plant? Sometimes that will make a difference. Did you use fertilizer?" Blair nodded. "That will really lead to a more organic garden and more peace for you!"

"Um, some cool pointy red and green plants," Bel said. "I can't remember the name but they looked realy appropriate. And, uh, turnips. That's what the guy in the store gave me for seeds."

"Pointy?" Blair frowned. "I'm not sure if pointy is conducive to being relaxing, but okay. And turnips are good. The leaves are really high in vitamins and minerals and make a good hearty tea." He paused and thought for a moment.

"You should really start picking up trash."
demonbelthazor: (Huh?)

Bel blinked. "I don't think so," he said. "They pay people to do that."

"First off, they don't pay them nearly enough. Secondly, we wouldn't need them if people would just recycle. I mean, how hard is it to seperate your trash people?!" Blair shook his head and stopped, taking a deep breath.

"Seriously, you should gather up trash for a compost pile. It makes a great fertilizer and it's really soothing. Everything breaking down and becoming something useful again? It's so perfect."

"I'll think about it," Bel said dismissively, clearly not taken with the idea at all.

"I'll start looking around for a good container for your pile for you. It's the least I can do to help you out."
demonbelthazor: (WTF?)

"I'm not collecting trash, Blair," Bel said flatly. "I draw the line somewhere."

"You don't have to collect it. You can just set up a drop off point for deposits!" Blair sighed and waved his hand. "Unless you want to go with a feces based fertilizer."

Bel made a face. "Yeah, right. If I need any of this mulch stuff I'll just buy this. I'm not devoting my life to it, after all. In fact, you keep pushing it and I may just abandon the idea entirely because I'm beginning to wonder what you're up to."

Blair waved his hands. "Not up to anything, man. I just want to help you find a healthy outlet for your feelings. I have to admit that I have a passion for gardens and stuff, I guess it's just something my mom used to say about being being tied to the Earth." He sighed and looked at the floor. "Sorry if I got carried away, man. You keep up with the garden however you want, okay?"
