Brunch to Save the Teal Deer, Lobby, 11 a.m. through the afternoon

As the poster promised, there are bacon, eggs and toaster strudel available in the dorm lobby. There's even extra icing for the strudel, and gallons of coffee. It probably smells amazing.

But to get to this bounty, you need to fork over $2. Somebody will probably press a teal deer awareness button at you, too.

What to do? The coffee and strudel do look good...

"Hi, Archie," Angela said, putting his money into the cash box. "Yeah, poor little guys. It probably makes them easier to hunt."

"Well, it's not the sort of color one would expect to find in nature. It practically screams 'Here I am, come get me.' Not very camouflage-friendly," Archie noted, examining the picture a little more closely. "I keep forgetting that there are restrictions on hunting now, but it's a shame to kill off these cute little creatures."

Angela nodded. "Yeah, it's not like they hurt anyone. And they're really rare. This is one of the last places we have them."

"Unsurprising. In that case, I think . . ." He dug into his coat pockets, turning most of them inside out before finding a small wad of one-dollar bills, three more of which he peeled off and handed to Angela.
