Brunch to Save the Teal Deer, Lobby, 11 a.m. through the afternoon

As the poster promised, there are bacon, eggs and toaster strudel available in the dorm lobby. There's even extra icing for the strudel, and gallons of coffee. It probably smells amazing.

But to get to this bounty, you need to fork over $2. Somebody will probably press a teal deer awareness button at you, too.

What to do? The coffee and strudel do look good...

Pippi is a little wired from having brunch at Wonka's already.

Obviously, it's time for the most important meal of the day...

Second breakfast Brunch.

Pippi happily hands over the nasty icky paper money left over from the change she got from Empire Records that one time.

"Greetings!" She says. There's chocolate on her nose.

"You have something on your nose," Rory said by way of greeting as she took Pippi's money. "Also, hi."

Pippi crossed her eyes at her nose.

"There is?" she asked rubbing the tip of her nose with her fingers, "Thanks!"

She looked at the buttons.

"I've never seen a teal dear, they must be VERY elusive! Are there any on the island?"

"They live in the preserve," Rory said with a smile. "They're very, very shy, and they only come out when people make longwinded speeches. And they're being hunted to extinction. It's terrible."

"That's terrible!" Said Pippi, "What are they hunted for? Are they delicious?"

"Not that I know of. I think it's their pelts," Rory said woefully.

"Is there anything else to be done about it besides eating second brunch?"

"Well, we're going to use this money to help them," Rory said. "Beyond this, I'm not sure - I have to talk to Zero, since she's the protest girl. I'll keep you posted for sure."

"Okay. You let me know if you see any poachers in the preserve talking in circles and I'll take care of 'em."

"Will do," Rory said with a little salute.

Pippi returned the salute and flounced off to get herself some eggs and coffee.
