Fifth floor common room, after classes

The common room has been decked out for a proper tea party, including doilies and frilly hats for the guests. A plate piled high with homemade cookies is the centerpiece, next to the tea pot.

Nadia is seated at the table with Furrball twining around her feet, and an unwound Moral perched in the chair next to her. As she waits for the guests to arrive and the tea to brew, she admires her nails, freshly painted a lovely plum color.

Blair wandered in, dressed nicely in a suit he had gotten from a thrift store. "Nadia, this looks great! Thanks for inviting me!"

Nadia grinned. "Thanks!" Then, remembering her archaic manners and the mise en scene which I know is totally spelled wrong, but hey, what can you do, she stood and curtseyed.

And gave Blair a frilly pink hat. "Come! Have a seat!"

"Nice suit Blair!" said Pippi in her best dress, frilly hat provided by Nadia, and bear feet.

After dropping her books off at her attic room, Phoebe showed up at the party and looked around with a grin.

"Wow. It's really pretty in here."

Nadia grinned back. "Thanks! Have a hat and a seat!"

Bel was dragged into the common room by his girlfriend. He looked around at the frilliness with confusion and maybe even a little fear. "What the hell is this supposed to be?" he said.

"I was told there would be tea?"

Nadia smiled back. "And cookies!" She offered Cally a hat. "Come on in!"

Veronica entered the common room, grinning.

Nadia spotted Veronica and waved. "Did I get the decorations right?"

"Hey, Veronica," Bel politely greeted her. He looked around anxiously. "Um, hat?" he said, picking up one at random and offering it to her.

Logan arrived with a stuffed bear jammed under one arm and Does Not Play Well With Others written in red crayon across the other.

"Hey you," Veronica walked over and greeted Logan with a kiss. "You need a hat."

Pippi flounces out wearing her best party dress.

She's long since returned Parkers adorable shoes, so she's barefoot.

"Hello everybody." she says bobbing a curtsey.

"Hi!" Veronica greeted Pippi. "Come in, grab a hat and relax. This is an emo free zone. We're here to have fun!"

Nadia tossed Pippi a hat in the manner that one might toss a frisbee. "Hi Pippi!"

"Bonjur," Pip said as he entered. His face was covered in "F's" and he looked as though he had been slammed against the wall a few times.

Nevertheless, he still managed to clean up semi-decently.

Archie is here, full dress uniform, extra shiny buttons and all. He does look a bit cranky about the rather elaborate D scrawled across his left cheek, though.

"Archie!" Veronica greeted him. "You look so nice in your uniform," she complimented. "But I think you need to switch hats for the night." She held out a frilly, pink hat, like everyone else was wearing.

Piper wanders into the common room practically dragging Lindsey with her. She got the feeling he didn't really want to be there.

She looked around the room. "Wow, everything looks great."

"Piper! Lindsey!" Veronica hurried over to say hi. She was also carrying two frilly pink hats.

"Glad you guys could make it," she said, handing them each a hat.

Alanna came into the room, following a rather energetic Faithful. When she saw the decorations, she sort of froze at the door and made a loud squeaking noise.

Furrball spotted Faithful and scurried over. "Mew?"

Xander's wearing red. Partly because these are his nice detention with the Mountie clothes, and partly because what the hell, it matches the text scrawled on his cheek that says Answer uncertain; ask again later.

He grins and raises an eyebrow at the decorations. "There was a message about free cookies? And some other two-word phrase that I can't actually remember because every time I try to think what it was, I hear 'free cookies' instead. Something about tea par--- nope. Still just hearing free cookies."

Nadia grinned at him and came over with a hat. "Tea party," she said, plopping a pink, frilly hat on his head. "Glad you made it!"

Having a *handwavey* invite from Veronica, Alphonse wandered up to the fifth floor. He attempted to scrub off as much of the dreaded crayon marks on his face before arriving, but small visible marks were still there. But, eh, he wasn't the only one, so... "Hi everyone," he greeted and waved.
