2nd floor common room, Tuesday night

In an attempt to provide a temporary distraction from exam stress, a chick flick and pizza party is shaping up in the seeming center of the universe, the second-floor common room. Pizza boxes containing a variety of round pies of cheesy goodness have been propped open on the coffee table, and there's a stack of DVDs on top of the TV.

Right now, Angela is setting up Rote Mühle, the story of a penniless writer who falls in love with a prostitute in turn-of-the-century Berlin. The story's a little drippy, but the costumes and the music are to die for.

Parker checked, and Jaye was right. She then raised her eyebrows. "So, either he's alive, or possessed. I vote for alive. Possessed never ends well." She cocked an eyebrow at Lambley. "Lambley? What do you think is the most fun: alive, possessed, or other?"

"Other anything. Undead. Ghost. Robot. Cyborg?" She grinned at Jaye. "How long has it been doing this?"

"It started talking to Rory yeterday," she says. "So, basically, since I got it back from ABC."
