First Floor Lobby [Sunday evening]

Rory was in the lobby with as many pillowcases as she could find, and was wearing her bestest party dress. It was BLUE. She had pink tights on, too, and pretty yellow ribbons in her hair.

She was attempting to fasten a pillowcase to her head with bobbypins. Because all brides need a veil.

A sign that she had carefully made and stuck up as high as she could reach - so yes, about three feet up - on the wall read, GET MAREED HEEERE.

Vladdie was bouncing around, so VERY excited. Weetiny people! Eeee!

She had also raided her own stash of goodies, and there was a cake made of Hostess products piled up. It would have to do.

[ooc: Because seriously, how many little kids would love to play pretend wedding? ~~And yes, I'm OCD threading this. Hang on~~ okay, we're good, omg!]

"Very well," Fraser says, dropping his voice to a whisper. "You both want to get married? This is a decision made in sound mind, body, and soul?"

"Um." John doesn't really know what that means. "We wanna get murried!"

"What he said," Aeryn tells Fraser. "Only correctly."

"I said it right! I'm smart like a whip!"

"...I don't know what that means. But yes, we want to get married."

"Do you have any vows prepared?" Yes, Fraser has looked up the basics of a marriage ceremony before.

Aeryn shakes her head.

"What's a vow?"

"A vow is an earnest promise to perform a specified act or behave in a certain manner, especially a solemn promise. Basically, is there anything you would like to say to John about this upcoming marriage? Or John to you?"

"Um," she says. "I like you and we're friends and we should be married. And don't get me in trouble because you promised." She nods.

John giggles. "I like you too and we're friends and we should be married so I can protect you and stuff from the monsters that live under da bed and inna closet. And I'll bring breakfast over and feed our pets."

"There are no monsters in the closet, though. I checked. Just pointy shoes," she clarifies.

"Very well. Do you, Aeryn Sun, take this...young man to be your husband?"

"Yes," she nods. She thinks that's what you say.

"And do you, John Crichton, take this young lady to be your wife?"

"Yippee!" John pumps his fist.

"Very well. I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss...um, maybe we should leave that part out."

"Um," says Aeryn. But if that's what you do...

She kisses John on the cheek.

John kisses her on the cheek back. And then takes her hand.

"We're murried now yay!"

"Now what?" she asks.

"Uh. Let's go eat cake!" John tugs her away from the big red guy towards the sugar. "We're married but it's a secret! No telling," is what he says to people along the way.

Aeryn would be wee!facepalming as she follows him.
