First Floor Lobby [Sunday evening]

Rory was in the lobby with as many pillowcases as she could find, and was wearing her bestest party dress. It was BLUE. She had pink tights on, too, and pretty yellow ribbons in her hair.

She was attempting to fasten a pillowcase to her head with bobbypins. Because all brides need a veil.

A sign that she had carefully made and stuck up as high as she could reach - so yes, about three feet up - on the wall read, GET MAREED HEEERE.

Vladdie was bouncing around, so VERY excited. Weetiny people! Eeee!

She had also raided her own stash of goodies, and there was a cake made of Hostess products piled up. It would have to do.

[ooc: Because seriously, how many little kids would love to play pretend wedding? ~~And yes, I'm OCD threading this. Hang on~~ okay, we're good, omg!]

"Sure," Isabel said as she held it out. "Is purple your favorite color?"

Angela nodded, carefully pulling the necklace over her head. She thought it looked wonderful with the purple pajamas she had never changed out of. "Uh-huh. I like it even better than pink. What's yours?"

"I like red," Isabel said. "And black. But my mom says little girls can't wear black. She says I have to wait til I'm a teenager and I can't be goth. But I don't know what goth is. So how can I even be it?"

"That's silly," Angela agreed. "Your mommy should let you wear black and red if you wanna."

She tried to remember a word she had learned recently. "Maybe goth is like emo?"

"What's emo?" she asked. "I never heard that word before."

"I think it's like when you're all sad all the time," Angela told her. "I never wanna be emo."

"Michael is emo. He's always sad and wants to go home." Isabel shook her head, "I don't want to be emo either. I want to be happy."

"Happy is better," Angela agreed. "Michael is a poo-doo head."

"He is," she said. "He and Michael try to boss me around all the time."

"You should tell them you're a girl so they should listen to you, 'cause girls are better."

"I know, but Max thinks he's king or something," she pouted. "I'd be a better king, cause I'd listen to everyone."

"You should be queen," Angela agreed. She poked at the jewelry. "You could make a crown and everything, and tell everybody what to do, only you'd only make them do stuff they liked."

"You're right. I should," Isabel agreed. She reached for a thick necklace of multicolored beads and started to run it through her hands, making it freeze into a firm solid circle that she placed on her head. "Do you think this is a good crown?"

"You look beautiful," Angela said. "An' there's purple and red in your crown, and those are the best colors."

She took her own necklace and placed it on top of her head, going a little cross-eyed as the stone hit between her eyebrows. "Can I be a princess?"

"Uh-huh, you can be the best princess and I'll be the best queen," Isabel nodded. "What should we do first?"

Angela considered it seriously. "We should have cake," she declared. "And abolish bedtimes and baths."

"Yummy cake!" Isabel got to her feet and held out a hand to Angela, "Let's go get cake! And we can stay up late and we'll skip our baths!"
