First Floor Lobby [Sunday evening]

Rory was in the lobby with as many pillowcases as she could find, and was wearing her bestest party dress. It was BLUE. She had pink tights on, too, and pretty yellow ribbons in her hair.

She was attempting to fasten a pillowcase to her head with bobbypins. Because all brides need a veil.

A sign that she had carefully made and stuck up as high as she could reach - so yes, about three feet up - on the wall read, GET MAREED HEEERE.

Vladdie was bouncing around, so VERY excited. Weetiny people! Eeee!

She had also raided her own stash of goodies, and there was a cake made of Hostess products piled up. It would have to do.

[ooc: Because seriously, how many little kids would love to play pretend wedding? ~~And yes, I'm OCD threading this. Hang on~~ okay, we're good, omg!]

"There isn't a rule, no." Fraser shakes his head. "I guess no one's really wanted to marry me."

"Mr. Mountie," Rory said, toddling over. "Marry the pretty princilady."

Fraser...flails. Yes. "Marriage is quite the big step, Miss Gilmore. Marrying someone takes a lot of thought and preparation."

He's really quite the dork.

"But she's pretty. An' it can be a sekrit, 'member?" Rory said. She offered a pillowcase to Zoe. "You can have a veil, Mrs. Pretty Princilady."

"Oh, thank you," Zoe said, taking the pillowcase. "This is a very pretty veil." She turned to smirk at Fraser. Watching him squirm was rather enjoyable.

Fraser flails again. "Well, it is a pretty veil and she is a very pretty lady but marriage is a big step in a relationship, Miss Gilmore."

Rory looked very much like she might cry, what with the lower lip trembling and how wide her eyes had gotten.

"Please?" she asked in a tiny, sad voice.

"Um." Fraser flails a bit and adjusts his hat to stop the flailing. He turns towards Zoe. "Would you like to get married?"

And that's something he never thought he'd say.

Zoe can almost picture Wash flailing at her madly from the afterlife. Unless, of course, he saw the look on Rory's face, in which case, she thinks he probably understands.

"Sure," she says, grinning. "After all, Miss Gilmore did say please."

"Manners are 'portant." Rory looked around for her new husband, and frowned. "Anakin says Jedi can do the cer'mony, but I don't see him. But I'm married to him, an' that's good 'nuff, so I'll do it."

She looked at Zoe, eyes wide. "That's a sekrit, oops. Jedi aren't 'apposed to marry. Are you ready?"

She bounced.

"Yes." Oh dear. "Yes, I am." Oh dear.

Zoe smiled at Fraser before nodding seriously to Rory. "Yes, I'm ready."

Rory cleared her wee throat. She had seen a wedding before, and knew what she needed to say.

"DEARIE B'LOVED," she announced in her most important voice. "We are gathereded here today to cell-brate the marryingness of Mr. Mountie and his hat to Mrs. Pretty Princilady. If you have any 'jections, boys them now or forever hold your pieces."

Maureen stood there with her flower-napkin, but didn't object because yay! Mr. Mountie was marrying the pretty Principal lady! It was much more grown-up than the other weddings! "Yay!"

Xander looks over from the cake and says "I JECT OH EM GEE WHAT THE HELL! Mounties can't marry princiladies! It's in the rules!"

He's not sure which rules, but he'll find some if he has to write them down himself.

Even though he is married already.

Even though he likes Bridge lots. Maybe mostest kinda.

Becuz Mountie.

"You can't 'ject, you're already married! Bloody hell! Ragflapping glorp!"

Fraser frowns at Xander. Not stern or angry, just confused.

"Um."

"You said bad words in your 'jection so it's nullyboy!" Rory declared. "Anyone else?"

"OH MY GOD, I OBJECT!!" shrieks Quinn.

"Miss Morgendorffer, we've been over this." Fraser's fake wedding is being ruined!

Quinn flails. "But nooooooooooooooooo. At least have the decency to do it in Vegas! Somewhere I can't see. After all we've shared..."

Xander's eyes are VERY VERY BIG.

Zoe glances at Fraser. "What was that you were saying about how no one's ever wanted to marry you?" She's not laughing, really.

"I WOULD TOTALLY MARRY HIM! I'VE ASKED, KINDA!" says Quinn. Who then realizes she shouldn't have a freakout in front of her principal.
