First Floor Lobby [Sunday evening]

Rory was in the lobby with as many pillowcases as she could find, and was wearing her bestest party dress. It was BLUE. She had pink tights on, too, and pretty yellow ribbons in her hair.

She was attempting to fasten a pillowcase to her head with bobbypins. Because all brides need a veil.

A sign that she had carefully made and stuck up as high as she could reach - so yes, about three feet up - on the wall read, GET MAREED HEEERE.

Vladdie was bouncing around, so VERY excited. Weetiny people! Eeee!

She had also raided her own stash of goodies, and there was a cake made of Hostess products piled up. It would have to do.

[ooc: Because seriously, how many little kids would love to play pretend wedding? ~~And yes, I'm OCD threading this. Hang on~~ okay, we're good, omg!]

"You have a cute nose," he tells her seriously.

She totally covers it. "Do not," she says.

"Do too. It's cute. Just like you."

"Soldiers aren't cute," she says seriously.

"They can be! Stop arguin about me saying yer cute. Yer cute. That's all. End of stories!"

The argument's quickly forgotten when Aeryn asks, "Are you going to read me more stories if we're married?"

"Shur!" John nods excitedly. "Anything you want!"

"This is going to work out well," she decides.

"I think so. We'll be married forever," John says. "And we'll get dogs and move in with my parents and live inna my room!"

"That might be crowded," she says.

"Cozy," John amends.

Of course. Aeryn nods. "Yes, but that's a looot of people."

"When I get big and rich, I'll buy us a mansion on a hill!"

"Oh, okay," says Aeryn, who has no idea how things work.

John swings their hands back and forth. "So, we're havin a slumber party tonight, right?"

"Yes," she nods. "With the TV!"

"Yay!" John throws his arms around her and gives her a hug. "We're friends forever."

Aeryn hugs him back. "You give good hugs," she says.

"Thank you." John grins at her. "Want another one?"

"Okay," she says. She kind of likes his hugs.

He hugs her again, squeezing tightly.

"You're nice to hug."

"Are you going to keep hugging me if we're married, too?" she asks.

"Shur!" John's just happy right now. "I'll hug you whenever you want."

"Good," she says. "And I'll try not to step on you anymore."

"Cool. Wanna go have the slumber party now?"
