Early afternoon, Friday, 1st floor lobby

Well, it's sort of Xander's common room now. In the way that it belongs to everybody, and most of his associations with it involve certain red-clad authority figures more than other students, and there's no kitchen. But anyway.

There's a kitchen in 121. He made brownies. Yes, from a box. They're on the table by the tv.

Which is playing a classic black&white First Mister episode of Mr. What, because it's a little late to try convincing anybody around here that he's not a geek.

With a purple frog. Who's watching from his tank on a conveniently-placed end table. Actually Jeremiah probably has the better view.

She giggled and waved. "I'm not a ma'am! I'm Elle!" she said brightly, "And this is Bruiser and I heard him call you Zee...is that right? Like the paper towels? Because that's really neat and way better than Brawny or Bounty or Scott, because Scott's a boys name." she said seriously as she thrust her hand forward.

"L? Hi, I'm Z. Z Delgado." Z gestured to the nametag stuck to her sports bra. "Not like the paper towels, just, like...Z. Short for Elizabeth?" Z shuffled her brownie and jacket and took Elle's hand. "Nice to meet you."

"Oh!" she laughed softly, "My mistake. It's really nice to meet you too, Z. Are we all supposed to be wearing nametags? I didn't even get dressed yet because I smelled chocolate, but name tags are a great idea."

"There was one shoved under my door this morning, so I decided it was a sign."

"Hunh." she said, looking a little hurt. "I didn't see one. Maybe I just missed it."

"Maybe it was just a students thing? But--oh, here!" Z said, remembering something. "They gave me two, but my roommate's not here yet." She dug around in the pocket of her jacket and came up with a blank nametag and a Sharpie. "You can have it."

"Oh my God! Thank you, you're the best girl ever!" she said, brightening immediately. She set Bruiser down and wrote her name in big, bubbly letters and stuck it to her chest. "There we go, E-L-L-E, that's me!"

"You're welcome," Z said, realizing this was 'Elle' not 'L' and making a note of it. "Wear it well!"

"I will, Z!" Elle said cheerfully and admired her shiny, special name tag. The only thing wrong was it needed more pink.
