Well, it's sort of Xander's common room now. In the way that it belongs to everybody, and most of his associations with it involve certain red-clad authority figures more than other students, and there's no kitchen. But anyway.

There's a kitchen in 121. He made brownies. Yes, from a box. They're on the table by the tv.

Which is playing a classic black&white First Mister episode of Mr. What, because it's a little late to try convincing anybody around here that he's not a geek.

With a purple frog. Who's watching from his tank on a conveniently-placed end table. Actually Jeremiah probably has the better view.

"Yes," Rory said, nodding. She frowned. "Is it a proximity thing?"

"Proximity?" Cameron frowned right back.

"Um...." Rory wondered how to phrase this. "The kissing thing. Because you seemed very good with being just friends, and then the next thing I hear is that way early in the morning you guys are kissing again. I mean...do you remember the desire to just be friends when you're with her?"

There was staring. Mostly because Rory mentioned the word 'desire' and Cameron's brain was running off with that word. "Sorta?"

Rory sighed. "Okay, then maybe you guys shouldn't be alone together until you figure it out?"

"Is this you volunteering to be a chaperone?" Cameron didn't sound too happy right now.

"Not unless you think you need one," Rory said, raising a brow. "I meant maybe stick to common rooms. That kind of thing."

Cameron shook his head. "This is stupid."

"What is?"

"This whole thing. I don't need a charpone. I can spend time with Molly and now jump her bones, thank you very much. And if it turns out we can't, I guess we can draw our conclusions from that," he shrugged.

Rory smiled. "I just don't want anyone getting hurt. I've seen it happen. And I don't want it to happen to you two."

"And rushing into this would hurt her a lot more," Cameron sighed.

"Take your time, I guess. It's your prerogative," Rory said with a shrug.

"Yeah, it is." Cameron agreed. "I don't want to be unfair on her, Rory."

"I know you don't," Rory said. "And I'm overidentifying. So do what you have to."

"Thanks," Cameron said simply.

Rory nodded. "And I'll stay out of it. Or try, anyway. Did you know that barely anyone's been talking to her about any of this?"

Cameron sighed. "No, I didn't. Considering how many people are bugging me."

"I'll stay off your back, then," Rory said. "One less person bugging you."

"It's not... You've been a help. I just have my reasons and they're not as simple as Jaye and Vala," Cameron explained with a shrug.

"And it'd probably be easier to figure it all out without me interrogating you every other day," Rory acknowledged.

Cameron tilted his head and smiled. "Yeah, just a little bit. But I know you mean well."

"Well, I have no plans to punch you, if that helps," Rory said with a smirk.

Cameron laughed. "Yeah, it kinda does."

"However, I stand by the Special Collections thing," she added, looking slightly more stern.
