Early afternoon, Friday, 1st floor lobby

Well, it's sort of Xander's common room now. In the way that it belongs to everybody, and most of his associations with it involve certain red-clad authority figures more than other students, and there's no kitchen. But anyway.

There's a kitchen in 121. He made brownies. Yes, from a box. They're on the table by the tv.

Which is playing a classic black&white First Mister episode of Mr. What, because it's a little late to try convincing anybody around here that he's not a geek.

With a purple frog. Who's watching from his tank on a conveniently-placed end table. Actually Jeremiah probably has the better view.

"I think Doctor O left a lot of details out when he was emailing me about it," Conner replied, wisely dropping the name question.

"Dr. O? Who's would that be?"

[identity profile] connernotconnor.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, right, right. Doctor Oliver. My old teacher who's here now?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, Crazy Driver's Ed Teacher. Right. I threatened to perforate him. Or at least kill him a little. But I had a very good reason."

Conner blinked a little bit.

"What happened?"

"Dinosaurs during the Final. He couldn't turn it off!" Parker looked absolutely outraged. "Though to be fair, he had nothing to do with Zero's shirt disappearing. That was the laundry machines."

[identity profile] connernotconnor.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Conner, in turn, looked completely horrified. "Turn it off? What was this, a simulation? Okay, who let Doctor O run the computer?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
Parker cocked her head. "Yes, a simulation. I take it that wasn't a good idea?"

[identity profile] connernotconnor.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
"It usually isn't," Conner replied, shaking his head.

"You couldn't have warned anyone here about that?" Parker sighed. "Anyway. So, you know Dr. Smart Glasses. And you're from-- where?"

[identity profile] connernotconnor.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sorry," Conner answered, abashed. "I kind of thought he'd just be teaching science. Figures there'd be dinosaurs, though. Me? I'm from Reefside, which apparently one of a bunch of little towns in California that looks oddly like New Zealand where weird, weird things happen."

[OOC: Gah, sorry. Had to crash out early.]
