Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

Peter was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in front of him and a box of cookies from J. GOB.  He'd found some Coca-Cola (and still couldn't get over the fact it came in cans now) and was flipping through the channels on the TV.

Oooh, war movie.  That looked interesting.  The planes looked familiar too.  Peter sat forward in his seat as the title rolled.  Rescuing Corproral Smith?  Did they make movies about World War II now?

Bridge wanders... back into the 5th floor common room.

He eyes Dean warily, but goes to find a seat on one of the couches.

Peter bowed to Bridge as he was walking in. Because that's what you do to fellow gentlemen. "Hey Bridge. Popcorn?"

"Thanks, dude." Bridge says, returning the bow with a salute.

"Anytime. How's the world from the future's perspective?"

"I have a teammate, apparently." Bridge grins.

"That can only be to the good. Hopefully he's a good guy?"

"She, actually," Bridge says. "You've met Z, I think."

"Err, my apologies," Peter grimaced in embarrassment. "I keep forgetting the ladies fill the same roles as men here. It's slightly different at home."

"I have met Z! She seems like she'll be an asset to your team. That's marvelous."

"It's no problem, dude." Bridge says, waving a hand. "I totally get the whole 'slightly different' thing. I've ran into that a few times myself."

Dean eyed the guy who was eying him back. "Something I can help you with?"

"...you're not Alec." Bridge says after a moment. "Sorry." He adds, apologetically.

"Nope. Not Alec. Guess I should have kept that name tag on. I'm Dean."

"Nice to meet you, dude." Bridge says. "I'm Bridge."

Yeah, he's not doing the handshake thing this time.

Dean noticed the lack of handshake, but it didn't really bother him. Though it did make him curious... "So what did my double do this time?"

Bridge shrugs. "I don't think he likes psychics very much."

"And you would be a psychic."

"Yup." Bridge nods.

Hermione's curious about the uniform, as she's not used to seeing them in a setting like this. "Hello," she greets him.

"Hey!" Bridge waves with a grin. "Someone else I haven't met yet!"

"I'm Hermione," she says. "What's your name?"

"Bridge," he says. "So, are you an actual resident of this floor, or a non-resident who felt like wandering, like me?"

"No, I live on the third floor," she answers. "I am allowed to be here, aren't I?"

"Yeah," Bridge shrugs. "I live on the second floor, actually, and I don't think I've been to the second floor common room since, uh... Thursday, actually."

"You say that as if it's uncommon," she says.

"It... kind of is?" Bridge says. "Most of the students until now lived on the second floor, so that's sort of where everyone congregated."
